Love Los Tacos. Much smaller menu -- it's just tacos and sometimes a consome -- but Taqueria Ramirez in Greenpoint is my current favorite for tacos.

I believe the tacos there are the number one tacos in NYC. A close second would be Taqueria Al Pastor over in Bushwick. It’s almost the same but the Carne Asada there is seasoned better than at Los Tacos.

Thank you! Los Tacos is amazing, definitely a must try. Let us know what you think of it! Thanks, that has really been a struggle lately. Our next two restaurants were both very loud. Other than switching to voiceover, I'm not sure there's much more we can do about it. Glad it didn't take away from the video!

Los Tacos 🌮 #1 are really good tacos but I’m one of those prudes who believe comfort food shouldn’t be expensive. At $4.50 per taco, that’s pretty expensive then again just about anything in NYC is overpriced. When I think of tacos, Leo’s Taco truck in Los Angeles gets it right: $2.00 tacos served out of a taco truck in the back of a nondescript gas station.

How recent was that? I know LA is a hot bed of tacos, but I can’t see how $2 would turn a profit these days. Moreover I don’t think it’s a fair comparison since food trucks have low overhead costs vs NYC rent. I’m sure you could find less expensive tacos somewhere in NYC likely of a lower quality. Also there’s less demand in NYC.

@@DrDetfink I highly doubt they cost that anymore with the post pandemic food costs increase. Even if you came to Canada and after exchange you couldn’t find tacos here that cheap.

@@skatingcanuck9837 Canada has been overpriced since 1992 and that’s when the US dollar with the exchange rate was better. LA is unbeaten in affordable food because it’s always in some ugly nondescript area that you either need a car or a $29 Uber ride to get To. 🎤
