I love how Wayne's method of pranking children is to make conversation while secretly talking nonsense, and the kid thinks they're just talking to a nice if slightly odd stranger. It's a very non-malicious approach that's way funnier than being mean to them, and the kid comes away from it unharmed.

i know there are people who sweat in dbd but like... i've never played it seriously lol so it's interesting to hear baaulp say it fails because it's too caught between serious and un-serious. i goof around in every match and make weird gimmicky builds. like it's still entirely a choice to take it seriously imo/in my experience, especially these days.

If you've seen wayne's streams of dbd you can see he did not have that kind of mindset at the time lmao. But I think that also is because they got into dbd way earlier on when the game was survivor-sided AF so that might tint their hindsight. I'm with you as well I love running meme builds as killer (personal favorite is one that is a constant scream build) but I also got into dbd within the last year and it seems right now it's less unfair to both sides

@@TuskDeluxe oh yeah, i haven't seen some of the older streams so i wasn't aware :p i can see how certain eras would drive people to sweat more now that you mention it. i've been playing very on and off basically since launch which probably also informs how i see the game bc those real real early days were so ridiculous and silly. anyway, i'm mostly a survivor main these days but that concept is so funny i'll have to try that next time i play killer
