It took years, but I finally like this song. A lot. It used to be the only track on The Open Door that bugged me, but now I can see the beauty of the song. I am freaking IN LOVE with this song. :) Evanescence is amazing, Amy Lee is a goddess to have the voice she has, and I would do anything to see them live. Hopefully they'll come to Texas soon with their new album that's coming out later this year. :)

I loved the Open Door so much. It's so different from Fallen and their self-titled album ( which I both really love to death ) but this one's got some gothic feel to it, and its so different and weird ... It's just really beautiful.

While I understand how this can be seen as a song about cheating or about hurting someone... I translate it in my own way, because I'm one of those people who keeps everything in, locked tight. Always thinking about consequences and what would happen.... when all I really want to do is just lose control and scream, yell, fight. I wish I could do that, and I love this song saying "Just once in my life, I think it'd be nice, just to lose control - just once."
