LYRICS Don't cry to me, if you loved me You would be here with me You want me, come find me Make up your mind Should I let you fall, lose it all So maybe you can remember yourself? Can't keep believing We're only deceiving ourselves And I'm sick of the lie And you're too late Don't cry to me, if you loved me You would be here with me You want me, come find me Make up your mind Couldn't take the blame, sick with shame Must be exhausting to lose your own game, selfishly hated No wonder you're jaded You can't play the victim this time And you're too late Don't cry to me, if you loved me You would be here with me You want me, come find me Make up your mind You never call me when you're sober You only want it 'cause it's over, it's over How could I have burned paradise? How could I? You were never mine! So don't cry to me, if you loved me You would be here with me Don't lie to me, just get your things I've made up your mind!

Evanescence - After you lose a loved one, often you're gripped with a fear of evanescence, or the rapid fading from sight or memory of that person. Evanescence comes from the Latin evanescere meaning "disappear, vanish." Something that possesses qualities of evanescence, has a quality of disappearing or vanishing.

Anime Lover Yuki Ayato Loads of people my age (around twenty and down) listen to music with a beat they can easily dance to. There's also loads of people in the very same group that listens to specific genres simply because of commercials and different ranking lists from popular magazines. Whenever someone tries to introduce them to music with deeper lyrics than... say... Blurred Lines, Gangnam Style, and other songs focusing on sex, they get pissed of. I've had many people yelling at me to "turn the trash down" when I found something with a similar sound to what they played, but with a different kind of message. Personally, I prefer this music. Evanescence is, and have been my favourite band since the age of fifteen. There's just a lot of people who disagree when this is introduced as good music. It's popular, but not mainstream. Justin Bieber (who, surprisingly enough, have a few songs I would label as okay), One Direction, and the sort have had a lot of advertising. They fit in with what friends of mine name "the blueprint". Catchy, but hardly ever as deep as Evanescence, Seether, and the sort Then again, we experience music differently. Perhaps some of these people can hear a message that others can't in the previously mentioned music? (I'm sorry if my english is weird, I'm not a native speaker)

I thought it was only me that thought he was incredibly, and overwhelmingly beautiful!! I'm 68, but for the past 30+ yrs, the men that have been in my life have mostly all been 11 yrs or more my junior. He looks remarkably like one of them. It freaks me out every time I listen to this song, (which I'm ALWAYS blown away by! ) Amy could sing the phone book and make it sound TOTALLY AWESOME! My granddaughter is the one who got me listening to Evanescence MANY MANY years ago, and I'm so grateful for her for doing that! I am now a GREAT grandmother to her 4 children! ❤

[Intro] Don't cry to me If you loved me You would be here with me You want me Come find me Make up your mind [Verse 1] Should I let you fall, lose it all? So maybe you can remember yourself Can't keep believing We're only deceiving ourselves And I'm sick of the lie And you're too late [Chorus] Don't cry to me If you loved me You would be here with me You want me Come find me Make up your mind [Verse 2] Couldn't take the blame, sick with shame Must be exhausting to lose your own game Selfishly hated, no wonder you're jaded You can't play the victim this time And you're too late [Chorus] So don't cry to me If you loved me You would be here with me You want me Come find me Make up your mind [Bridge] You never call me when you're sober You only want it 'cause it's over, it's over How could I have burned paradise? How could I - you were never mine [Outro] So don't cry to me If you loved me You would be here with me Don't lie to me Just get your things I've made up your mind

Joan Jett So true. Took years to let go after being angry to sad every day. It’s hard when your children are not just sad, some think about what if it was their fault. No! Addiction is nobody’s fault, the addict gambles their odds, they say it’s fun then it’s I’m not an addict until all know they are. With addicts please remember it was their choice to play with fire.... Addiction destroyed our family, ripped apart and he didn’t seem to care. After years on the emotional rollercoaster of anger, resentment, pity, love, and up and down it will better. Acceptance comes when the time is right for each, it hurts sometimes and still find myself thinking about what could have been. That’s when I blast this song, it’s helped me through and best when nobody else understands but the song does. ❤️
