Great tip about the weather. I’m in the UK and it’s a lot cooler now so my uke isn’t happy. I’ve started to put it in its bag overnight 😊

That's a great idea, especially as the weather cools down and the heat goes on in the house. Keeping it in the bag protects it. Adding an instrument humidifier is the idea. I must confess that, while I heat with a sump pump and fireplace, I keep my ukes out and always in reach. That said, I don't have a wildly high-end uke made of heat-sensitive solid wood (OK I do have one and it stays in the case). Laminate ukes can weather the heat/dryness better, but it's still best practice to keep it in the case with a humidifier.
