Fpx can be mad at riot for having to replay after already winning, there shouldn't have been a replay at all. Riots decision to replay that was absolutely awful. Xset didn't call for a replay they don't deserve any hate, they said they would be equally as angry. Bugs happen Riot should address the bug by fixing it, not replaying every round a bug happens.

They had no chance to recover from the effect of the bug until riot replayed the round. The issue with that bug it did not have a clear evident whether it cost XSET the game or not. If it was glaring like someone falling from the ropes fracture i think you and most people wouldn’t have an issue with the replay. But you need to understand it from a principal view not only a singular incident. A bug should not be a deciding factor on professional game or the integrity of this game will be ruined

1. It's barely a bug. If a turret doesn't finish its burst it will reset to default. Also XSET did not know where the second player was anyway even if the turret had not even been placed they would of had to check heaven. IMO it should not warrant a round replay 2. Its not FPX fault so it's strange to punish them for it. 3. If a replay has to happen, the decision has to be made within a 5 minute window after that round had been played and if you can't come to a decision then the game carry's on or in this case ends. You cant have both teams leave the area for around an hour to come back at 2am to replay the round. Either team could of watched the vod and got insight. That really does damage the competitive integrity.

It's still a case of misinformation, which is a pretty big deal in low TTK games like Valorant tbh. If it didn't, maybe the XSET players could've responded better without worrying about players that aren't there. Fundamentally, it still affected XSET's decision making and the outcome, even if they were still unlucky enough to not secure the round should the turret worked properly. The way I see it, it's no one's fault but Riot's, but they did have both of them play the round again. The sore point is mainly due to it being the deciding round of of the last match so understandably most people would get pissed off.

@@rllnfps The first contact from the turret might be up for debate in cases where it's actually at the edge of the turret's vision or smth like the Ascent B site switch turret setup which covers main and pizza, but the post contact volley was definitely not working as intended. It should've shot at the target's last known position that it can actually track within its vision cone. The fact that it shot straight ahead after the first contact must've meant the latter feature had an independent vision cone that doesn't quite align with the turret's default vision cone. And finding no targets to track but having to execute after the first contact, it just sets to default and did what it did in the match.

Remember yall, it was a loose loose situation for XSET. RIOT made the decision, Cyro stated that XSET was packing to leave and RIOT forced them to stay and took their phones to prevent leaks too make this decision. Neither team wanted to replay the round. RIOT made the decision.

FPX is justified on their anger/annoyance. They had a lot on stake and had already won. They could have lost and it would not have been fair at all. That they were being "hateful" (not imo, but okay) is not cool, but they didn't know xset didn't have a say in it and let's be honest, I doubt the coach didn't say anything when the opportunity presented itself. They agreed to the replay and that can cause some resentment in itself. I don't blame them tho for wanting a second chance. And the bug... imo xset didn't notice the turret first shooting omen, when he hid and the turret reseted position but kept shooting -as it always does-, they noticed it and misread the situation. I main kj and I know that happens, I take it in count. It isn't new and I doubt xset didn't know that bug happens. Lucky fpx won or there would be a sh*tshow to watch. Edit: L Riot

I hecking love Ange1, but the way suygetsu and zyppan tweet is not acceptable: 1. As what they said, Riot initiated and made the decision to replay the 24th round and I don't know why Zyppan had to talk trash to XSET and speculate that Sykko (XSET coach) protested about the killjoy turret bug. Riot and rest of VCT organizers remind that all val pros have to give respect to one another and suygetsu tweeted "not demons but losers" as he replied to his own tweet after the round replay. 2. XSET had the chance to win that in overtime but they threw the 1v3 clutch on 27th round by zyppan on B Lane and zekken close it out on 28th round on mid during 1v2 clutch 15-13 but it didn't happened.

I think their resentment comes from xset agreeing to the replay. Like yeah, a second chance for them is super good, but they were indirectly messing with fpx. it was good on riot to care enough about the games integrity to replay the round. If you watch the round back both site players turned to watch heaven for 10+ seconds due to the turret giving false info. Fpx is mad bc theyre scared of losing and i get that but when you clearly didnt get the last round due to skill but rather a bug, a replay was the only way to solve it. Fpx would have been seen as scummy if thats how it ended

I don't think this is a good take because it's not "every bug in the history of valorant" it's an information bug in a clutch situation of the last round of an extremely close series and map that was caught shortly after the end of the match. Sure, it's not FPX' fault, but that doesn't really matter because it's not a penalty, it's just a replay. It didn't even change the winner of the match. There's nothing that should be controversial about this

@@Keijo_ even if it was misinformation on part of the turret, fade eye comes from door and kayo sees omen door too, this is information that 2 players are door, the only 2 players remaining, it's a lack of communication from xset after the turret was broken. They had the correct information present after the bug. Rewatch the round and you will see it all play out after the turret is broken. Watch valorant alchemy video on the situation, its explained pretty well. The thing is it wouldn't be as bad if an xset player didn't shit talk optic the day before about how they're abusing tech pauses so they can stop teams momentum. It's why a lot of people are hounding on them. Maybe riot should fix bugs like these before hosting big tournaments, but that's just what i think. Their quality control is very poor, take the latest update has ruined the game sounds to the next degree.

@@sh3ykhan any examples? Because if a match was lost as a direct quantifiable result of any of those bugs, those definitely SHOULD have been replayed as well. I'm sure if you were a competitor you'd be outraged to lose under such circumstances. I'd also like to point out that since the scoreline was 11-12 when the bug occurred(as opposed to replaying a round from the middle of the game), you don't even have to take into account the impact on ultimates or economy as a result of replaying this round because if FPX wins the round, the game still immediately ends, and if XSET wins the round, ults and eco immediately reset in overtime.

XSET had the choice to replay the round or not and was not forced onto stage to play like they implied . The turret was not a keyfactor to them losing the round on 11-12, ange1 out aimed them in a 2vs 3 deficit. Their interview seems like XSET is pushing back the responsibility onto riot to not catch flack and playing the victim card. It also doesnt help that they set precedence by blaming the tech pause during the Optic game. It sets bad competitive integrity on them why not just reject the replay of the round go home, its a loss- loss situation. It gives such a bad look to their team like they can't handle loss with grace.
