Losi 5ive-B -Taylor 40GT Akill Super Spike Tires

Welcome to Steel City RC channel. Today I took out the Losi buggy for another shake down braap. The 40GT never disappoints. Amazing how much more power it has in comparison to say a Zenoah g320 engine. Next step is to lower the buggy down with softer springs. Maybe it will be more nimble.

Thank You! It is a little animal. I am most worried about breaking the wing supports rolling it. None available. I see Vitavon is making aluminum ones. Not sure about using aluminum there though. Probably break other stuff.

First I d like to say I love your channel. But I widened my 5ive B by putting 5ive T control arm( upper, lower, steering links ) !! Much better, just a thought...

Thanks! This is the first season with this buggy. I am feeling it out currently. Wider arms from the truck and slightly softer springs are in it's future. Probably do it over the winter. Appreciate you stopping by 👊 🤘

LMFAO oh my is that funny! I totally agree. The buggy is like, hey I am supposed to be a 29cc 😂!! All in all it is pretty manageable. I need to tone down the springs with some softer ones and widen it out with truck arms. Should be more planted 😄. Appreciate you stopping by to check out my buggy 👊🤘

@@SteelCityRC ... I have a Rovan SLT with the 45cc but it vibrates the carb loose so I was thinking about a Taylor engine . I really don't know if the SLT is the same as losi 5b for ordering engines for it.

@@goodboyringo9716 I am unfamiliar with Rovan rigs. From what I understand. It is Losi 5iveB compatible. So yes. Order for a Losi 5iveB. The only difference between truck and buggy is the pipe.

@@SteelCityRC ... I've been checking Detroit Performance 's web site looking at the 40gt and found they are not giving a choice for the losi 5B but do give losi 5t 2.0 ? Could be just a typing mistake. but can't fill an order like that. Detroit performance does show a losi 5B choice for the 46GT I.

@@goodboyringo9716 same here. I noticed the same thing trying to order the 40GT. I had to email John at Detroit performance to let him know it was for the 5ive-b. The difference is the pipe. Well John dropped the ball and forgot it was a buggy. I got a truck pipe. He straightened it out. But IMO order from Taylor RC directly for pain free ordering. John just drop ships from Taylor anyways..
