I have the Losi 8-T 2.;0 RTR. i'm so happy with this model i am building myself a Losi race buggy. I will be going for the Losi 8 EU as the kit is super cheap right now and Losi are fantastic! if you want to get racing on a low budget the Losi 8 rtr's are the best way to do it!!!

there are z screws in the front and rear arms that can be used to limit the droop, check out losi part a1702 and look near the hinge pin mounts to see what im talking about

@repticooo No problem bro! don't forget to properly break in the engine. Search "RC Nitro Engine Breakin part 1" and the second video is a great break in video. its a 2 part video.

You just make me want one even MORE! Can't wait to get my hands on one! In fact I did some research and found out where Drake gets his skins for his cars from. They custom make them anyway you PLEASE! Prices aren't that bas either. :-)
@rimontes14 жыл бұрын
@repticooo heat up the engine close to 200F, that will make it easier on your starter box. Also, make sure the piston is at bottom dead center. you can do this by turning the flywheel, if it is stuck, its probably in contact with the upper portion of the sleeve. if its easy to rock back and forth, thats good, heat up your engine and give it another try on the box.
@Betaa1234515 жыл бұрын
he measured it, and droop=travel length on dampners, can also be adjusted by screws

@72MOOK15 жыл бұрын
my spur gear on my 2.0 sounds like its scraping its brand new outa the box hasnt had a run yet should i be concerned or is that just normal anyway im happy with my purchase ive got an rc8 nitro and a losi 2.0 e im happy with both...fun fun fun onya losi..onya team associated.
@_trismegistus15 жыл бұрын
The only way the damper travel length can be adjusted is by modifying the inside to limit the amount that the shaft can extend. Either that or by gettign taller shock towers. I have no idea what he was talking about.

how do you adjust the shock length???

What is he talking about adjust the droop? He had the damn buggy off the ground and was basically measuring the shock length! How can you adjust droop without changing the mounting point on the tower, or putting fuel tubing on the shock shaft inside the shock?? WTF?

lmao you said cheaper. rc8 rtr= $600. losi 8ight 2.0 rtr= $650-700. shut your mouth. associated makes a solid buggy and anybody who argues that they arnt is a fool. and im not hating on losi, i love the 8ight and the 8ight t as much as the next guy. i just like the rc8. and it has a winning backgroung to back itself up.

to be fair, hpi isnt a bad company as long as you are bashing there vehicles, i mean come on they are a basher company aside from the 5th scale cars. good parts support and flashy cars are a perfect mix for bashing. now that being said there race cars are not so good. your trophy buggy 3.5 will not be racing with a losi 8ight 2.0, mugen mbx6, team associated rc8 2.0 or xray xb9 but thats not what its meant for
