That setup looks great👍👍 I don't think the two different hight's will affect the servo or steering, actually pretty sick😁🍻 yeah I hear ya on warranty tbone racing done that to me twice, they say lifetime warranty, ahh no🤔 but yet I still use some of their stuff🤣 great rig and vid man

Awesome input man. Thanks. Warranty. I wouldn't complain if it was 20 or even 50 bucks. Hey it's a hobby. But 200 bucks I'm bitching lol. But gave up and moved on without DGI.

That's a great steering servo. It's not a super affordable piece, so run two. I love my twin servo setup and would never go back.

What up man. This comes stock with two steering servos. They run off a Y splitter from the rx. I put two new ones in here years ago. Using the Y splitter the would have voltage drop and fight eachother big time. Then burn up the motors. Maybe if I ran straight power and ground to both servos I would have more success. But I like one big stron servo. This Hercules does it well. Thanks for watching 🤘👊

@@SteelCityRC Hi. Not sure what you mean? It comes from Losi with one servo - at least mine did. So did my DBXL-E 2.0. I like these Hitec servos. Inexpensive and run great. I feel the S9020 is way overpriced, and they definitely do not deliver the numbers in the specs. On my DBXL-E I run the servos off two small 2200mah lipo packs I strap on top of the drive packs. On my DBXL-E 2.0 I run them off a Max5 - I have just installed a small cap in line with each sevo for added security. The Max5 has a 20 amp BEC, so it's perfectly capable of driving those two. The way I have set up the DBXL is as follows. Each servo lead goes into a Y. One outgoing lead to the battery and one to the RX. The two leads that come from the servos to the RX goes into a Y from the RX. On this, I have simply cut this Y splitter, I have simply cut the positive and negative leads. Super simple and tidy - thee small Y connectors are all it takes. No odd solders, no odd wires or voltage regulators. Simple is often best. I've installed spacers between the rod ends and servo horns as well as the arms on the saver, so the links are mounted on the upper side and sit flat. I have zero bind and it runs completely smooth. I have them on two different AUX channels, and while I have been playing with the end points, I found no need and it runs completely smooth.

@@AB-80X my fault. I commented on the wrong video. This car I have used one Hitec d845wp without issues. I did have a problem with the HR servo saver and horn. Both junk. This FID worked well in my mtxl so I figured I would give it a go in the dbxl-e. I agree on the s9020 servo. The power is ok the gears are junk. I srripped two in my MT Thanks for the input brother!!

How far is the steering servo set? Thanks
@SteelCityRC2 жыл бұрын
Hello. Not sure what you mean. I was able to adjust how far the servo turns with the end point adjustment in my radio. Set to where it is at maximum turn without binding. Appreciate you stopping by 👊 🤘

Do you think that servo would work safely with the stock system? I have a dbxle I've ran like 3 times I got for 600 bucks when the 2.0 came out. Thought about getting the hot racing braces and top plate and getting the FID or GDS push pull steering.
@SteelCityRC3 жыл бұрын
That servo will work wonderfully for you with the stock system. I have had that servo in mine since new. Still pounding ground to this day. Definitely get the FID push pull system. The Hot Racing one is a servo breaker. Appreciate you stopping by 👊 🤘

Thats a nice fast servo bro and good job on that steering looks like it works nice. And wow bro sorry to hear about DGI but they do have complete shit customer service. I got there wheel nuts and them links on my MTXL and honestly they are beefy but I dont care for the looks of them! I do like the wheel nuts but Im gonna buy the gap racing ones and set those DGI ones aside, dang it I got the DGI link for the steering too😂! Again I dont like the hex look! Nice vid G man!
@SteelCityRC5 жыл бұрын
Right on man! Dude I don't like to bash brands etc. But DGI did me wrong. Ordered parts they came in incorrect and he wouldn't answer. Had to PayPal dispute twice the same thing. Then one of the front links broke. The brass bushing popped out of the eyelet end. Again no response. So my mtxl has zero DGI screw em lol. Appreciate you checking out my buggy brother

I am currently using a FID push/pull steering system. Been over a year now an it works awesome. I used Hot Racing servo saver. More like a servo breaker so I went to FID. Thanks for stopping by 👊 🤘
