Your bottleneck on this setup is your battery. You need an Onyx 150c or a Max-Amps 180c. The regular name-brand batteries don't have enough amps to increase the gear ratio. Spending 200 dollars on a speed-run battery is pretty normal if you want to really push it. My Thunder Tiger Ducati will do 92 mph on 3s but it has a full faring on it to cut wind resistance. It also has room for a 3s 9600 mah 150c Onyx battery. The best way is just to keep going at it. You will eventually figure out the secret recipe on your own. You will have it to 100mph in no time. Good luck will be keeping tabs on your project.

ThTs crazy since my vendetta went 114mph on the same battery I’m using 😱 I feel someone should tell the battery it shouldn’t go 100mph 🤷🏻‍♂️lmao seriously it’s only a 100mph not setting records on this basic set up and that why I show the normal Rc guy you don’t need tons of money to do 100mph basic stuff we remove can do it to 💯

Why not just try a higher kv motor? The higher the kv the more rpm it will turn.also,what c rating battery are you using?i use at least 100c,just seems like the esc is much more efficient the higher the c rating.i haven't tried any of this with my promoto,however i have done the exact same thing with my 10th scale 4wd basher.using a 4000kv motor,a 100 amp esc,and 120c rated 3s and im reaching 100mph.although,my tires would come apart if i gear up any more.

Tire and gear both made no difference gearing up even with a sprocket will just slow down motor rpm & Kv is peaked so gearing won’t help it will just get slower

I think brake cable is gettin hung up when the forks compress mate.should look at the rider figure from the xrider bike if u want something lighter and a bit more tucked to the bars.

Yes but the amps will then hit LVC Trying to Push higher kv with limited reserves and the heat it will produce to push the rc will be extremely high

The higher kv produces more heat and requires more amps to drive to make it efficient along with the weight it can push will overheat with this big rc

I can only hear the buzzing when i have it close to me to power it down and can't hear it all while running it. @@earlmoorhead5555 probably not but actually an interesting test would be just to swap all bearings to ceramic and see how much difference it does make with current setup since you don't believe motor is reaching full rpm .. curious can you get telemetry that tell you the max rpm you are getting at full speed? Then you can compare to unloaded rpm motor would do in theory based on kv and voltage and also compare to motor rpm at full throttle with wheels off the ground ..

@roblapouple7552 flowpack did that test on his slash made no difference with bearing working properly and found that ceramics melted at high speeds so he recommended metal ball bearings with flow juice just thin oil in the bearings

@Rckid28 any motor will spin till the epoxy gets to hot and the Kevlar shreds so keeping it cool between pulls it should last from what I’ve found that’s why my vendetta 3s motor never blew up on 6s 👍💯

@@Rckid28 max rpm rating are for power applied so 2S has one rating 3S has another rating and so on and if you use the motor consistently over spinning them it will heat up melt down or come apart

Earl we ( all of us ,-everyone) really appreciate your videos so PLEASE PLEASE don’t take this Suggestion the wrong way one KZbinr runs at closed down on weekends freight yards where you can see several empty loading docks where 18 wheelers usually back end - there is plenty of room for him to do his speed runs- it may be best to seek a place like that out- right now someone may hit you or you them- he calls his Super Speed Sundays or Saturdays that let’s us know those locations are closed on the weekends
