What i did with the part you broke is drilled out the arm and the rod end and put a cut to lenght stainless threaded rod in, that was i believe, 7 mm in diameter with a nylon tube in the center over the threaded rod. Since having done that, i havent broke it again. Been running the same fabricated arm for 2 years now. There is also Vitavon upper arms and hub carrier which is another option. My fabricated arm cost me like $10 and a little time. As far as the rear axle goes, ive actually never broke one. I actually dont break much on either of my 2 SRR's. Im definitely far harder on mine than you were in this video. The other parts i have broke was a lower front arm but that was because i hit a huge rock at full speed and the front shock tower. Ive put aluminum (no cheap no name brands either) steering bellcrank, Vitavon shock tower, losi branded servo saver mount to fit 1/5 scale servos, losi branded aluminum knuckles, T-Bone bumpers, skidplate, shock protectors. I believe thats all ive done to it as far as aftermarket and i havent broke it at all in many many months, probably been a year since last breakage.

Also from our research we are finding that the frigid temps in Michigan might of contributed to alot of our breaks. Thanks for input always like a fellow hobbiest ideas and input.

@@pinheadrc6027 I also put an Exotek front diff case in at least the one as the plastic case would flex and change the mesh.

I don’t understand why people pay a lot of money for these shit rc cars then spend a shit load more to make them useable!

Can you imagine for 1/2 a second ANY OTHER HOBBY in the world where people spend $1000 on an Item; Go out to have a good time with it; and Come home HAPPY if they Break it!! It is like a Victory to find the weakness and spend more money to FIX IT. It is a Sickness.
