the ten scte is the exact same apart from bumpers and body mounts and stuff. the center diff had to be turned around because the nitro has it one way and the electric motor needs it the other way or else it cant reach the spur gear. Thanks i wanted to help some people out because there isnt any videos hope yours goes well. i love mine.

yep i have acctually converted mine to an 810e now. only difference is body mounts, body and wheels. the Axles are the same but the hexses have a conversion done to fit 1/8th scale buggy wheels. there is a losi one but i used the M2C racing one.

wow very well done, i like the ten conversion as well. i am in a transition from electric cars to gas and nitro. got me a 5sc Baja and now the ten sct. going out now to fire it up for the first time. thanks for the video, very entertaining.

i used the losi scte parts and it was less than most of the pre made kits like rc monsters and stuff but is probably a little harder to install. (still easy though). it was around 75 for the conversion (excluding the electronics).

it has a 40t losi spur and a 16t robinson racing pinion (1216) they are mod 1

i don't know the part number but it is a "robinson racing products 1200 5m/m to 1/8in. reducer sleeve." i would not suggest it. if you need a sleeve i probably means your motor is too small the only reason i used this is to get the truck running and the motor is temporary as it is not nearly powerful enough.

yes but it was only temorary to get if runnig. i am now running a tekin RX8 and T8 motor.

G'day fella, nice job! I realize you did this video ages ago, but wondering what you did for clearance for the T8 motor? There is a couple of plastic bits under the motor on mine and it looks like I'll have to some Dremel work to make the T8 clear it underneath....? Any advice? Thanks.

+Billy McGrath Everything Fits perfectly and its really easy to get parts because the loss Ten SCTE, 810, and Ten-T are all based off of each other.

I need help with my ten t I covered to electric and my gear is stripping I did all you did to yours but for some reason my gear seems to be wrong did you change the Pinion or do something to it?

I changed the Spur gear to a 40 tooth MOD 1 gear. I cant imagine they would strip easily. Make sure the gears are properly adjusted to mesh with each other. There are some good videos around that help.
