Thanks as always :D Yeah I'm actually not too happy with the video. Just a little bit rusty but that was the part I also was really happy about. Actually I can't tell you how to do it haha. But I really like music and feel it when the song is awesome, I don't know :D This is probably helping me with my videos because I always try to edit to the music. But not just the basic stuff like trim it to the beat. I also try, that the shot makes sense with the music and when a beat drops I try to find a scene where the car drops or a tire hits the ground and blows up a lot of dust. Most of it probably stays unnoticed but I'm triggered when I don't do it and If only one person notices it, I'm happy :D Stay safe too :)

Thanks :) I‘m using the stock pinion for 3s which I think is a 15t. And I didn‘t use a fan but because of the video shoot there wasn’t really a continuous driving/bashing. Therefore I would definitely recommend getting a fan if you planning on running big MT tyres :)

Thanks :) Because it was a video shoot there were a lot of small breaks between takes so this doesn't represent a real driving scenario. I think the ESC should be fine with the bigger tyres it's more the motor I would worry about. I would definitely get a fan for it :)

Do you still run this anymore? It's one of my all-time favorite RC's and as soon as I saw it I bought it... I still run stock tires though. Do you like it better with stock tires or monster truck tires?

Yep I still run it here and there. I usually run the stock tires as well, since these are the ones that are on my Stampede. These tires have better traction and are more forgiving at jumps. But they are also harder on the drivetrain and the motor temps go up like crazy :D

Not that great :D I would definitely get a fan for the motor with those tyres. Handling is quite different not necessarily better or worse. It‘s less agile but it‘s better for rougher terrain and suspension travel is increased so better for jumping I would say.

So genau kann ich das auch nicht sagen :D Ich denke halt, dass sie mit meinen Videos so zufrieden/überzeugt waren, dass sie mir trotz der "wenigen" Abonnenten ein Auto geschickt haben. Aber sofern sie nur ein Auto durch meine Videos generieren, hat es sich ja quasi schon gelohnt. Bei HorizonHobby bekommen tatsächlich einigermaßen viele KZbinr die Autos um sonst. Bei Traxxas ist es anders. Da ist glaub RCSparks mit der einzige der sie bekommt. Und ja darf es auch behalten :)

I didn't like the Proline F-11 wheels therefore I went with the Traxxas ones. This also gave me the chance to tape the tires from the inside to prevent ballooning. After that I just glued them like any other tire :)

@@rhelton72 You're welcome. Pro-Line has new rims. Maybe you like them so you don't have to go the extra route like I did. One more thing to notice is that I couldn't mount these tires on the stock hexes. I just used old Traxxas Stampede 4x4 hexes and they worked perfect. You probably don't have to do this mod with the Pro-Line wheels but I can't say for sure. Just check out other videos on YT where people are running them and just ask them if they had to do any mods to fit them :) And the Tenacity is awesome. You're going to have a lot of fun with this rig :)

Thank you :) Depends on what you order. I have the Traxxas Ruster 4x4 wheels on my Badlands because I didn't like the old Proline F11 spoke. But the newer wheels come with their new design which allows you to run the standard and the bigger 17mm hexes. I had to use some old stampede 4x4 hexes because the rim slightly rubbed against the axle carriers. But I'm almost certain that this won't happen with the Proline wheels. There is a 17mm hex upgrade for the tenacity if you want to go full overkill but I would keep the stock hexes, because it also allows you to run the stock and other SC/1:10 scale tires :)

How are the differentials holding these wider tires?

I haven't driven it a lot of camera with those tires but the diffs are pretty hefty for a 1/10 so I wouldn't worry about them. However the motor temps get crazy hot so even with a great fan and low gearing it's definitely on the limit during hotter days. In winter you might be fine though..

Can you list exactly which Proline tire/wheel combo you used (part number)? Is the diameter comparable to stock so gearing isn't a concern?

I used the tires: 10125-00 and the Traxxas wheels: TRX6772. But be aware that you have to trim the wheels in order to make the tires fit. Otherwise I would just recommend getting the Pro-Line: 10125-10 or if you want the belted option (I belted mine myself) these: 10174-10. The belted ones are also a little bit narrower, which would probably be better for the Tenacity. I would probably gear down 2 teeth if you drive on 3s. For the video shoot it was fine with the stock gearing, but there were a lot of small breaks between shots, so the motor could cool down.

Thank you :) No diff issues, although I would recommend using the smaller pinion and maybe get a fan for the motor in the summer. Also these wheels and tires won‘t be a direct fit if you want to make the exact same combo. You need to trim the rims. Therefore I would recommend just getting the normal Badlands Mx2.8 with the Raid wheels. Back then they had the f11 wheels and I really don‘t like the look of these, hence why I went with the Traxxas ones :)

Kind of. I had to change the hexes for some old stampede 4x4 ones because the wheels were rubbing against the axle carrier with the stock hexes. But maybe that‘s only because I use the Traxxas rims on my badlands. The proline wheels could be a direct fit..

Vielen dank :) Meinst du wie viel Prozent vom video geschaut werden? Wenn ja bei diesem Video ca. 60% der Kanaldurchschnitt sollte aber eher bei 50% liegen.

Ja also denke eigentlich auch das es höher sein müsste, vor allem da die Videos oft nur 2min lang sind. Aber über 50 habe ich selten, da ist dass aktuelle Video echt die Ausnahme.. aber der Anteil wird im Laufe der Zeit auch runter gehn, wenn die ganzen Abonnenten das Video geschaut haben.

Ja ein bisschen😅, aber ist glaube ich mehr oder weniger normal auf YT. Finde es eher krasser das meine Videos nirgends mehr vorgeschlagen werden. Habe vor ein paar Jahren noch doppelt so viele clicks pro Monat gemacht mit halb so vielen Videos und Abonnenten. Also der Algorithmus leistet da ganze Arbeit😅😂. Ich mach fast 90% meiner clicks durch die YT suche aber wenn da dein Video nicht ganz direkt an erster Stelle ist. Hast du da auch echt wenig chance was groß abzubekommen.

Do you mean the big erevo? If so the tenacity is probably 2/3 the length. The erevo is 1/8 scale and the tenacity 1/10. It won‘t pop wheelie stock but if you fill up the center diff with some heavy weight oil it probably will wheelie. The tenacity is an awesome truck with superb handling, can‘t recommend it enough :)

Those are Proline MX2.8 Badlands, with some Traxxas Rustler 4x4 rims. I taped the tires from the inside so they won't balloon :)
