You posted a video on your acne a few years ago showing an extreme racing top plate fan mount. Do you know where I can get one of those I have scoured the Internet and cannot find it. Awesome build, just picked up a DB myself and gonna copy some of you mods for sure. Looked through the comments, sorry if you already answered it, what axial kit did you use for the light bar exactly, and what LEDs did you use. There seems to be a few bucket options and a few different LED options, some are wired in series so just curious to what you used. Also my body is gloss black yours appears to be satin or matte. Did you spray it or did the shine just wear off over time. Thanks again great video.

@@krlaturn I am on the fence on getting the aluminum chassis braces for the f/r. Do you feel the upgrade was helpful or more so just for looks? Is it really that much better than the plastic chassis braces? Thx

@@ParcoUpchurch I’ve bashed mine very hard and my chassis is as straight as an arrow. I can’t say that it would have went that way with plastic chassis braces. But it really just depends on how you drive. If you are a hard basher I’d say it’s worth protecting the chassis

Hey Keith love your videos buddy. I wanted to know if you could add the Losi Baja Ray Raptors rear red tail lights onto the db pro? Probably not. Stock wheels have very thin beads. Need room to drill in the screws

Traxxas 3628. I just used E6000 to mount it. It’s very secure but could be removed if necessary.

How does this compare with your modified Ten SCBE from a few years back. After seeing your videos I built my own from a losi rally Ten that I had and ended up replacing virtually everything. It handles brilliantly but I am nervous about driving it hard as a lot of the parts are getting hard to find. Do you think Tenacity parts are interchangeable?

Yes they are very similar. Virtually every part is interchangeable. The only changes are the chassis, center motor mount, chassis braces, and battery tray. I have the Rally X as well. I run it as a Road Car with a Subaru WRX body on it! I run mine hard! Really the only parts that could break are the interchangeable parts. Aarms, shocks, shock towers, front center, and rear diffs, drive shafts are all interchangeable.

@@krlaturn Thanks. Just know getting one. I still have my scbe( got it way back when u made your upgrades to yours). Love it but wanted to get that center diff covered up really. Got a few rocks stuck in it. Do u know if the spool is the same. I have mip gears in my scbe one like to transfer for durability. Noticed on yours u don't use the light bar and switched to the scx10 g6 jeep lights on roof like u did to your scbe. Was there an reason I did so.

@@kevinhill2381 all the diffs are the same as scbe. Even the front rear gearboxes and A-arms are the same. Just the chassis, center diff / motor mount, chassis braces, batt tray are different.

It’s rare but I found the fluids to be set up perfect in the db pro. I didn’t change shock or diff oils

@@sotorc1448 the dB pro comes with an optional pinion for 3s. It’s really fast on 3s! Plus, the dB pro is nearly Bulletproof out of the box! The Traxxas slash 4x4’s stock motor and esc will burn up quickly on 3s. And you will need several upgrades to make the slash reliable.
