I really like that quote "I didn't wanna be the best, I wanted to be the best I've ever been" that's sick, words to live by

same that has been my philosophy this year in fighting games. I know that I don't have to the time or probably even the actual talent to become top at anything, but if I am better than I was before then that still feels good.

I was fortunate enough to be a part of the SoCal sf4 scene during this era. Mike was probably the most liked person in that community. This was also my first evo. I did not expect to see myself in the crowd here haha. Congrats on top 8, Mike!

I am a local and a resident that lived by video 94. I remember back that use to be the only place to play street fighter 4 for a quarter in 08. I never got a chance to be friends with mike ross, i eventually noticed him as i got more involved with super arcade and the stuff that went there years after. Then started watching mike on all the content he did. I loved his journey and will always support him along the way. Wish him all the best - from some random scrub you easily beat at 94 way back in the day.

Pretty happy for Mike Ross being able to find an escape with SF4 and remain optimistic throughout his journey with the game! :) (Also (as someone who's not the most familiar with all the iconic FGC peeps), I feel intrigued enough to watch the full interview episode now, nice clip selection!)
