People with no execution wanna say "hes not even a cheater" but cant even conceptualize what it means to consistenly press a button for 2 frames, let go for 2 frames, and press that button again with absolute accuracy.
@sawyersimpkins942814 сағат бұрын
You're right. I practiced taunt jet upper in tekken 8 once for an hour and got it once. This is just about on the same level of execution, especially given the consistency of the cheater. It's beyond difficult lol.

Yeah this is the right answer. I saw Brian's original video, and when he was reacting during the fights by saying the guy was cheating, I felt he couldn't know. But when he went into the replay and showed the frame data, I had no doubts left. It was just way too frame perfect, way too repeatedly.

@BlueRuki11 сағат бұрын
@screamityeah 9 frames is 9/60 of a second, 3 frames is 3/60 of a second. "Reacting" to a player putting in that command, you'd have to see it happen, and then input the command... in three sixtieths of a second. However, if he were just doing a read, knowing that Brian was going for the same setup... for it to happen on the exact same frame multiple times, in the exact same way is so highly uncanny. Hope that helps.

People just want to offend others instead of trying to improve the game/community. Insane.
@andreabalestrieri4436 сағат бұрын
hi, where do you live in Europe? I live in Italy, and I agree with you that the situation in Europe regarding cheating in SF6 is damned out of control. I too find many cheaters, there are people at 1200 1300 and 1400 mr who seem like aliens. I'm not much of a person but these people play like it's the CPU set to difficulty level 8.
@originalscreenname4451 минут бұрын
I think the issue is that it is far more likely that someone is complaining about cheaters because they're losing than it is for people to come with accurate proof that there is cheating occurring, so path of least resistance wins out. They shut up when you showed them because, unlike the scrubs, you had legit proof. I think both problems (crying wolf vs an abundance of legit cheaters) can exist creating the current environment.

Important note: 250 milliseconds is human reaction time to 1 stimuli in a controlled environment. In other words, in ideal conditions, when event is expected to happen and a human just needs to press the red button, like a monkey in a lab. In an active match of a fighting game, where stuff is happening rapidly, and there's a whole plethora of moves that can come out that require different response - 250ms wouldnt be the average.
@VolTheProducer15 сағат бұрын
I was going to comment the same thing. Average reaction time doesn't take into account mental stack. In a high level match, players are looking for several different options to react to, especially in neutral. Even if the first 1 was the absolute hardest of reads, it's a bizarre read to have at 90 seconds in round 1. When the 2nd one happens in the exact same scenario with the exact same cadence of reation time & double tap, it's a wrap - no human is doing that so precisely in that situation twice in a row.
@ultimateman5514 сағат бұрын
Yep. And anyone who plays fighting games remotely seriously and has dealt with mental stack can attest to this. Let's not forget that Punk won EVO this year because Big Bird ate a jumping heavy to the face.
@The_Geni12 сағат бұрын
Right but the problem with that whole study making it completely irrelevant to this is that whole test was done with no tells or info they just click it when they see it change color in something like a fighting game you have a bunch of tells a bunch of different info telling you when something is coming or about to come a lot of set up

Everytime I suspect an enemy is cheating, I look it up after the match. Not rarely, I have been just seriously washed, there definetly are players with just insane reads. But honest to everything I own. In the last 20hours i have played sf6, I have encountered around 15 to 20 cheaters. I love that you actually went about breaking this down further. Not because I doubted you for even a second, it was pretty obvious to SF6 players that this guy wasn’t legit. I like that you went about breaking this down because I think it’s valuable for people to actually see the truth of the matter regarding cheaters. There are cheaters in SF6 clearly, they can be pretty sneaky with the ways they actually choose to cheat rather than blatantly perfect parrying every single move you throw, and if you look in the right places, it is really really easy to find out for yourself whether or not they were truly using scripts. I liked the first comment you read because they weren’t being hostile. They phrased their comment as an honest question, and I think more people should be doing that. It’s too bad to see so many people immediately bash the person that catches a cheater just because it didn’t look fishy to them on a surface level. Fighting games should be all about trying to learn in every facet of our experiences with them and that goes for the community side of things too. Ask questions about things instead of jumping straight to argumentative comments!! Anyway that’s my two cents. Great video as always Brian! Cheers 👌

This 1 frame variance on the second input can be probably explained by the assumption that the script creates input in the PC OS and the game reads it afterwards, and it lasts about 1.5 frames (or maybe less, depending on the input reader), so there are rare instances where the input is realeased by the time second frame occurs.

This tonal twist at 4 minutes got me good, was not really prepared for such strong energy

This is why you can't take regular people seriously, they have no idea how the game works, also to note that when you are fairly decent at a video game is not that hard to recognize patterns...

killer conclusion Brian, very nice preparation for this one!

Brian, it always reacted at 4 frames, every time you say "burn knucle starts", THAT frase is frame 1, then you count 2 3 4. BTW anyone that still says that this guy isn't cheating is just dishonest

All those comments were from people who probably couldn’t make it outta bronze anyways. Crazy replay exists to expose this stuff.

As an FYI, the script isn't DI'ing twice. The first input is DI, then after 1 frame it's F+HP+HK, so it's DI, wait 1 frame, Drive Reversal, the reason it's gonna be scripted to 2 frame action, 1 frame wait, 2 frame action, is exactly as you said regard the scripted running slightly out of sync or inputting "halfway" through an in-game frame, which will at worst, shorten the 2-1-2 programming to tap DI for one frame, 0 frame gap (i.e. no gap) tap Drive Reversal very next frame.

appreciate this video. All I wanted was to understand. I’m not familiar with your channel or you personally, so I was just trying to find out specifics to rule out the “ego” possibility. I stand corrected and informed. Ty

It's crazy how in denial people are about sf6 cheating, i haven't actually run into it in a while, but there was a week where i encountered a bunch of them, and it was like I was telling people I saw Bigfoot lol

can't believe people thinks pro can do DI read consistently for 4 frames everytime, its like catching a pointblank penalty kick 10/10 times, actual oxymorons 😤 Keep up the good work Brine, ever since I pick up SF6 I learned alot from your advices to get to my desired rank, I found some Auto DI script cheaters along the way too, I think it dated back to early february when it plagued asian server
