Where are all the people who normally comment how ridiculous Coach Blauer's teaching are? The S.P.E.A.R system might be very different, but the synergy and theory is super sound. Not to mention the integrity that Mr Blauer has towards his students' survivability

The truth is that after seeing Bruce Lee like many of us Tony wanted to become a martial artist. He even studied JKD, his first art had a that he created was close to JKD. But then he went into creating the Spear System which was based on reaction and what to do next.

His system is ineffective and not proven in actual combat. Seek a different source on self defense.
