Riptide is a weird enchantment. You put it on tridents and basically by throwing them either in water or while it is raining it will "propel" you forward a short distance. Can be useful for finding water temples and getting through them w/o drowning but beyond that it doesn't do much else other than help you move a little quicker.

riptide is an enchantment for the trident, it makes you able to sling yourself in any direction except straight up, higher level = more air time. you charge it by holding the right mouse button. It can only be used while in contact with water. rain or lakes, oceans etc.

Hey smitty, go mining at night because there’s a certain number of mobs that can spawn in a chunk and if you mine at night, mobs will spawn at the surface and there’s less chance of mobs spawning underground! Like so smitty can see
