Losing That Loving Feeling and Emotional Distance, Huntington's Disease Patient's Cognitive Decline!

Huntington affects so many different aspects of your life with a brain disorder. HD causes cognitive decline symptoms, behavior disorder, disruptive behavior disorder and psychological disorder all in one disease. HD is a gene defect that is a very rare genetic condition that can cause several different life issues. Along with everything else it can also cause repetitive behavior as well as sleeping disruption. To say the least, Huntington's is a very complex syndrome.

That explains me too. I trying to get off some of the medication s to see if it helps. You still have beautiful smile and the ability to show expressions. My mom completely lost her expression, speech, - her face looked frozen. She just passed this last Feb. at 75. Her CAG same as mine 42.

My Mom and brother did have a smile almost until the end. When my brother passed away at 68, it really shocked me. I still have memories of that. All my deep emotions seem to be gone. Fortunately, I am just taking lorazepam for sleep.
