Sorry for your loss. Replan, readjust, get stronger. Really great plot. You need as much as you can handle. You need extra for bad harvests. Gardening is hard. You need practice. Took us four years to get comfortable. Gardening during shtf is a bad idea. Don’t and switch to stocks until it is safe to garden. Life happens 😢It is a journey.

After, I got raided ( they even stole the garden shed. I designed the three garden system. Backyard and patio for bio hack & experimenting. Family garden. And hire a truck farmer to grow certain crops. And have a list of farmers and food producers. PV

I'm trying to concentrate on a variation of the 3 sisters. Tatties, Pumpkins and beans. Plus we've got a couple of apple trees so I'm in the process of making several litres of apple cider vinegar. Also got a few onions, beets, carrots, parsnips and sh#t loads of garlic :) Sorry to hear about the bereavement P.V.

Thanks man. Yeah, it's hard work keeping a plot going,knowledge, digging, planting etc etc etc. The real benefit is knowing exactly what you're eating and whats gone into/onto it.

I am so sorry for your loss of your family member my friend. My heart is with you and your family. As you said, regarding the plot you will adapt. That is a big part of survival. Plans change. Circumstances change all the time . In survival EVERYTHING is dynamic so a survivalist is a problem solver and highly adaptable. That's you :)

Greetings from Maine, USA! Just came from Pete's morning live chat (Roaming Prepper) and subbed. Doing great with the garden! Good point about thieves over the wall. In SHTF various troops can confiscate it too. Got any hardcopy foraging books? Edible weeds don't have bad gardening seasons and they're free! Cheers!
