Mark Minervini is a market wizard just like you. He was in the 3rd book published in 2003 or so named “Stock market wizards”

I think when Mark says to find someone great he means to find someone successful and learn everything you can about them and what they did to become successful.

Surprising. For some reason I thought all the market wizards knew each other!

Yep good channel and advice - you missed one important point. We all suck, yes and very few are successful- agree. I found out I wasn’t. So the added point is when you find out you suck and aren’t successful, then STOP trading. Stay LONG in your positions. Let the overall upward trend of the market (over YEARS) be your friend. Patience take forever. Nobody builds a portfolio in a day. It takes patience. Stop flip flopping around. Stick with your contrarian conviction, cause if your right, that will work for you in the end. But give it time. Sometimes it takes years. Try time a bit more into a position- sure but STOP trading them. Just MO.

Have you improved through the years? have you gotten better at picking winners & losers? I'm wondering if you can just get so good that it's easy. I really like to hear contrarian views like yours. Its refreshing.

honest question : why most people I know making money on markets treat it as a hobby? it's much easier to have a 9-5 then invest the money long spx + dividends ? Some relatives (parents who are your age) paid one house with their long term apple gains, microsoft etc etc... (I know a few) All while they were working as real estate agent, managers etc.. In my case I was working until 2017 and made quite some money on the market (500k+ trading solo for my age at the time 24 yo). Since then I started trading "full time" and I never reached my past performance again. I spend most of my time in the negative. Working & trading on longer term investment is an edge against all the new "i am my own boss" crowded trend. what do you think ? In my case I might start working again because I don't want to blow up at 30yo . In this case I am smart or a weak coward ?
