Hey, glad y'all made it back. I had a good time on the tour. It was fun meeting you both. I was at the hotel in bowling Green . The 1962 red ford f100 with the cummins 4B. I did buy a new tremec tr-4050 5 speed at tremec tent.

Is the tr-4050 a nv4500 replacement it looked very similar but I didn’t get a chance to talk to them about it?

I put the 6 speed out of a 2001 dodge in my 70 and have had good luck pulling a bit and running a ton of power with a heavy right foot

Yeah I have a g56 outa my 08 to go in it I just didn’t have time to for all the mods with a week before power tour so I just put another 4500 in for the time being

@TheRustFarm Totally understand I've ran a lot of 4500 in the Commins and I've had great luck with them. I had one truck that would drop second gear and fifth gear a lot. Actually, it would get stuck in third gear. And lose fifth I had that transmission rebuilt. Twice and it kept doing the same thing.

@@TheRustFarm I am recovering from getting hit while riding to work on my 1957 Harley Panhead that I restored. Clipped my rear fender and flipped me up and into the telephone pole nearly had my right leg crushed in two. I am almost back on my feet and when I am back to work If you still have it I would absolutely be interested. Thanks.

There's a retainer kit for that.

It has it they don’t work they are trash! They might hold on stock ones but every updated lock kit I’ve had fails

​@@TheRustFarmyep they dont work. Ended up weldin mine up in my 95. Let go like yours 500miles in on a 2800 mile trip. Drove drove 2300mi in 4th. Painfuly slow. Ever got pulled over for drivin to slow.
