LOST ARK - Defeating the Nightmare Queen, Abrelshud

Being among the few to have completed this entire raid in it's release week is probably one of my best feats in gaming. Entry level for this battle is item level 1520 and at the time of recording, my Berserker was 1540. The first clear party completed the encounter 57 hours after the raid's launch while my party completed it on the 5th day after 35 hours of in-raid prog.

@@SillyAdventurerL I like your question and I am going to give a honest answer. I bought the plat. founders pack and love the game. It may be the best mmo, certainly most beautiful mmo I ever played. I don’t mind the grind but what I do not like is losing all your days materials and grind to failing honing and stones who refuse to be cut. Honing that fails 4-5 times in row should not be possible. It aggravates me so much I haven’t logged in for a week. I am not sure I will log in ever again. As people predicted this type of grind does NOT work in the west!

Oh, the enhancement glow. In Lost Ark, your weapon gains a glow depending on the enhancement level. This is the max glow. You can hide it if you want.

It's an Esther skill. In Legion Raids in LA, there is the Esther gauge. It fills up when the players in the group uses skills or does specific actions. When the gauge is filled, the group leader can choose and use one of three Esther skills. This one, in particular, is Azena's skill. Azena is one of the seven(I might be wrong with the number) Esthers.

for pvp im sure M+KB is the clear winner but for these type of raids will a controller do fine ? tried out the RU version and saw the sticks worked fine on it but not sure how it would do in a raid

It's hard for me to say. I think if you play every day on the controller, it's doable, but some of the reactions you need to deal with some patterns is less than 1 second response time which I feel could be challenging on the controller.

Actually, these are cropped out. I play 21:9 but the output is 16:9, so the sides were cut off. This was to avoid letterboxing on the live broadcast. But you can hit Alt + X a couple times to hide these things naturally if you want.

@saintone do you know how strong arcana is pre high tier 3 since all the nice changes. (used to play one in korea along time ago and really enjoyed it but i understand now the class has no negative cards and got like a 42% dmg buff across several spells)

who did the most damage at the end of this fight? BM? how do you feel about berserker in tier 1 and 2 ? strong? and is switching characters very difficult lets say if i plan on playing something different in a year and a half and Biakiss raid just came out

In this party, the Demonic (transformation) was the top dealer (large gear difference). Berserker is very strong in T1/T2 if Madness engraving is available, otherwise he's just above average. It is easiest to change your class when a new tier is introduced, if you change at Biackiss it might be a little harder since it takes a lot of resources to initially enter her raid

Both berserker and demonic need a lot of specialty stat to shine because that makes it easier for them to frenzy/demonify and also allows them to stay in that state for longer. It would depend on how much stats t1 and t2 end accessory give. My opinion is that berserker is harder with less specialty stat bcuz its rly hard to gain madness gauge without enough specialty stat (about 1400 is considered the minimum i believe). Its going to be really frustrating to play a low specialty berserker unless youre extremely good at macro

Theres 9 different symbols, one of them at the start of "Time stop" floating around the screen. Each one define a different tile where you must pool boss to fight on (Otherwise wipe). Next you need to remember tiles that was free from aoe during time stops (He call them by clock's 9 o clock etc 11 12) and repeat them during fight holding her on tile from first section.

There is so much "noise" in the graphics, how can you distinguish which ability is hostile and which is friendly? Everywhere you look there are crystal-like animations. Isn't this hard to look at for 15 mins straight?

It's something that you get used to over time when playing this game. Many of the earlier fights (a majority of them) are much slower paced and far more meticulous, with less 'noise'. This raid and the previous one are a lot more chaotic with telegraphs. It takes a lot of practice to read everything that's happening on the screen at once and make decisions.

There is option which you change to dispaly your skill effect only with enemy'effects which significantly reduces graphic noise. And good news for low grade pc owners!!!!You can play lost ark with g-force now!!!

Given that this is normal mode, which is very forgiving when it comes to how many time you can mess up in taking hits, it's not really challenging aside from having to figure out the mechanics behind those boss mini-games. Once the first party clears it and the strategy for beating the boss gets leaked, it becomes exponentially easier for everyone else.

@@TheAbundance1337 Theres 5+ randomized mechanics during each boss which doesnt allow free clean every try. You need to adapt not just ot every boss,but every 2-3 minutes of each boss . Hardest patterns (over 60+ during 6 bosses). Each boss has uniq mechanic which not a single mmo have, also style of whole raid is MUCH better then every single raid right now in games.
