Basically, yeah. T3 Advanced honing helps the most if you are trying to rush the initial stages of T4. Early on in T4, normal honing will be slowed down by the lack of shards.

So my main is 1630 (all lvl 10 advanced honing) and 4 alts at 1620 with 0 advanced honing, my goal for my alts is to be able to get to 1660 for aegir either week 1 or 2, and at least be 1670 for normal brel. For my main i would ideally want to get to 1680 sooner than later to capitilize on accessories market while its fresh in the initial phase but im not super die hard on trying to push for 1680, I would rather be efficient with my gold and material usage. Based on the chart it seems like even advanced honing 2 pieces per 1620 alt isn't really necessary to get to 1670? What would you suggest would be an optimal way to use my gold before transfering my gear into t4 pieces? hone 1-2 pieces of gear to advnaced honing 10 per 1620 alt, and get 11-20 advanced honing on weapon for main? or just skip advanced honing in tier 3 before converting and naturally getoto 1670 through bound materials) currently sitting at 650k with 2-3k fusions available per char (and more than enough bound mats) edit: my soulfist i would ideally want to get to 1680 sooner than later as well because spec EO can't open ark passive until 1680

It really depends on how much gold you have to spend, what your expected bottlenecks are, and the amount of T4 mats we get from events, etc. My general advice is that if you do plan to take a character past 1685 at some point, and have plenty of gold to do the T4 normal honing required to reach your goals, then go ahead and do as much T3 advanced honing with bound mats as you can. For characters staying 1680 or under for a very long time, 1-10 advanced honing is debatable depending on how much bound mats you are using (solars/fusions), but 11-20 is not cost effective.

Iwould like to switch mains,i got gt main 1640 +10 all and +18 adv on weap, i wanna switch to 2nd main breaker bk 1620, which has all adv unlocked but only weap +10,would it be worth to keep adv hone him to atleast +10 all parts?or inshould just jump right into t4? Either is fine, but if you want to speed up progression to start T4, do it in T3. Just make sure to go to T4 ASAP so you can start farming shards.

In T4, from 1640 to 1660 it's better the normal gear honing, right?. Advanced honing is better once you're 1685 and you want to reach 1700?. Can someone confirm please?

TLDR: The 4 steps for T4 Honing: 1) Go to +16 Normal Honing 2) 1-10 Advanced Honing 3) Go to +19 Normal Honing 4) 11-20 Advanced Honing

Ancient gear vs relic does not matter for advanced honing vs normal honing. If you have 0 Advanced honing then +16 = 1670. Just look at your armor/weapon and hone until it is +16, then do 1-10 advanced honing, then go to +19, then do 11-20. There is nuance here, but this is a safe route and what I'd suggest to do for most people.

Hello sir ! I have 6 slayers (1630,3x1620,1600,1540) Main have full trans 40e || 2x1620 slayer 80+trans 40e (1 of them 10 weapon advanced honing) || 1x1620 slayer 40trans 40e || And i have around 2500-3000 leapstones on each. You shink i should i advanced honing in t3 before t4 ? (Have 320k gold)

Not financial advice, but I personally would use up bound Solars/Fusion and then just move into T4.

If you have bound fusions/solars to use up or want to speed up progress to start T4, 1-10 in T3 is a fine option. However, if your bottleneck is gold and you need to buy fusions, you'd probably be better off just ignoring advanced honing for now.

The biggest reason to do advance honing in T3 is to use up existing T3 shards, solars, fusions. Shards take a while to accumulate in T4, but long term it's not that different to do advanced honing in T3 vs T4. In T4, eventually it is more efficient to advance hone than normal hone. You can wait until your gear is +19 before doing it though.

If you're 1680 you didnt miss out cause ancient relic from field boss. You still make back your gold as they're a premium this early on. Also u can sell shard bags from twisted chaos. I sold them for 998g last night on NAW
