Came for a lesson in Arcanist, thank you! Today's patch notes say Empress is catching another nerf to her ark passive, is she that overtuned in T4? Saw Empress high in tier lists but I'm not sure if those are anything to base off of

I don't think it's necessarily the ark passive that is overtuned, but depending on your card rng the hyper technique (T-skill) can be VERY powerfull. Cull and Wheel of Fortune are the 2 big ones. The T-skill doesn't have the crit rate boosting tripods so having guarantied crit from Cull is amazing and Wheel of Fortunes reset speaks for itself. Being able to line up both allows for a quick and easy 3 Billion burst with my current gear XD

@IlyaDalamiq yeah I saw you using wheel for the T skill in G1, that's crazy that it works that way. Exciting, but I would've sworn they would exclude this possibility. I kind of get why theyre doing it then, but limiting 4 stack spend damage due to this synergy pushes the character away from sustained damage and towards rng chance for a lucky nuke. I think this is precisely the reason why people prioritise secret garden over a lucky serendipity crit, but we'll see what happens. Thanks again, I'll be back for more Empress gameplay!

Do you have a recent video with full aegir pieces? I just made an arcanist and trying to learn

I do not, but gameplay wise not much changes as i had all but 1 of the gameplay changing passives active (the one missing is 4% cdr or something, nothing major).

@@IlyaDalamiq ooo ok ty! I saw some arcanists using evoke. Are you still using the same build?

I'm still using Dealers Flip instead of Evoke, yes. I just prefer the gameplay of having more stacking skills.

emperor and empress which engraving do u think is better ?

Emp>emp But honestly I think empress is currently the stronger one. They have very different playstyles tho, so play the one you like more. They're both really good rn.
