Iirc the damage reduction is ALWAYS at the first stagger check, right before the space bar check, and when he hit his chest when turning white Atleast thats what comes to my mind

yeah there are some defined ones, but some are HP based for example, the one after spacebar - he can either beat his chest again (DR) or do a normal attack pattern also, anytime he initiates a counter > destruction pattern he goes into DR during fire/ice, grab, or swings, and those seem to happen based on HP in the igniter run, he went straight into ice after 1st phero so i think my PS hit into DR, and straight into chest after spacebar so my DD hit into DR probably can be smarter about it, it's just annoying haha

The community guide recommends swapping out frost's call if you want to run doomsday. I see you swap out seraphic hail instead. What's your reasoning? Are you keeping FC for better mana burn to get into boundless?

It's just because FC only needs 2 tripods while SH needs 3. I have level 10 DD gems so I prefer a maxed out Ignite tripod. Also just kinda personal preference, I've been using FC for a long time haha. SH should yield better DPS overall.

I'm a returning player and I've been hearing people saying reflux sorc is in a pretty bad spot now. Is that true in your opinion? And is it something that could hold me back compared to playing igniter? As for all out attack caster reflux, is it something that still makes sense or just a bad idea?

yes reflux is weaker than igniter - if your goal is to do the most damage possible, play igniter. if you're going to play reflux, play standard crit instant cast.

@@arcfaire just to be sure, playing standard crit reflux won't impair my ability to clear stuff right? Even if I'm still not high item level. I don't care about mvp too much, gatekeeping might be more of an issue since I don't have friends to play with right now. Thanks for the answer ^_^

@@arcfaire so I swapped from casting to crit, and I ran into one problem: I run out of mana incredibly fast. Any suggestion for that until I get myself a nightmare set?

you can use focus runes to help out a bit but all you need is 2 set nightmare
