I started with Deathblade and switched to sorceress as well. I love both classes but sorceress is just so challenging and fun really captures my attention as gameplay

ikr I love that you can obliterate things effortlessly and watch it happen with a mighty lightning explosion or something. In my opinion, games aren't always fun if they're challenging. I like to take things slow but I suppose bosses aren't that easy to defeat as sorceress, especially without other people since the point of the class is to keep distance while dealing heavy damage. Overall I'm pleased with the way sorceress is and I'm personally a fan of staying far away and killing people easily as well as having abilities that are flashy.

Dooms's day is an awakened skill you get after reaching level 50 and finishing the Vern questline. So until then use inferno for more burst damage.

I'm actually surprised you're not using Electro sphere for CC and grouping. I"ve noticed that it getting 2 stacks and being able to stagger all enemies with it is incredibly valuble. Otherwise i use pretty much everything here.

frost call if being used should be set to be instant, its more filler skill to boost your ultimate bar, your main dps skills are doomsday, explosion and punishing strike

1 important thing to note is that Igniter only cuts in half the remaining cooldown time of the skills that are on cooldown at the time of pressing the button. If you cast a spell during magic amplified state the normal cooldown will apply.

I remember some awesome skills in a old mmorpg called Holy Beast, I used to play alot when I was a kid. Since then I haven't played any more mmorpgs. I wonder if there are any class with similar skills in this game. Can someone tell me? Ilusionist Powerbind- Illusionist's continuous wide range spell that creates a barrier around yourself, which makes enemies in range move and attack slower. Buff lasts ~240 seconds Enemy Movement Speed: -0.80 Enemy Attack Speed: -0.80 Evilbind- Illusionist's wide range Dark magic spell that creates a barrier around youself, which deals continuous damage to all enemies who are near you. Damage is dealt every 5 seconds. Buff lasts ~180 seconds Soulflame- Illusionist's infectious flame spell. The target enemy becomes "Infectious" for 30 seconds. Any enemy near the Infectious when it infects, becomes "Infected" for 7 seconds. The Infectious infects every 6 seconds. The Infectious takes (~350 Dark Damage?), while the Infected are dealt Damage over Time, every 2 seconds. In addition, both Infectious and Infected monsters are slowed. Healer Life Spring- Healer's wide range continuous healing spell that creates a barrier around yourself and heals allies who are near you. Own Status: Life Spring Barrier. I would highly recommend Rule Enhancement for Frost's call, by far. It allows you to move instead of locking you down while casting, lowers the CD substantially and increases the damage the most. Level Frost's call and it will be your strongest skill for a substantial amount of the story.

Nice guide. Though I'm mainly trying to create my own build and just use abilities I enjoy, this did help me learn how varied tripods are and what I can look forward to in the future.

In my opinion, not all of the recommended tripods should be recommended. Not all of them since I'm still experimenting myself but if you were to ask me for example, with punishing strike I recommend what he had but for the last one I would recommend the crit rate. It seems more valuable since you can potentially crit high damage with each pulse of lightning, I haven't tried out the other 3rd part of the skill tree but it doesn't seem to be that good. Could be but I just don't think so honestly.

Probably because you build different if you are reflux or ignite engraving build. To add to this there are unique builds u go for when doing chaos Dungeons legion raids leveling pvp and so on. So technically there is probably 2x5 builds so 10 builds all with a different purpose

I only use the caster build in chaos dungeons and in open world content, and use the normal skill build in raids and abyssals as i feel like i have to move around all the time especially in some raids and abyssals where the CCs and Aoes are spamming ridiculously fast.

I like Fex but this isn't a comprehensive build guide for sorc. There is no mention at all during the skills section about leveling vs boss skill setups (remember you can have both). He also doesn't mention the sorc's counter skill, Squall, which I believe is the only skill available to counter bosses when they turn blue. This video really just tells you how to max out aoe damage with a sorc. This is not necessarily what you want for fighting end-game bosses.

What normal engraving are you supposed to use? I have no idea how that works because people in other videos were talking about putting accessories in them, but they never talk about which one to use for specific build such as Igniter Sorceress or Reflux Sorceress. For example, Grudge is good if it's at T3, but T1 is really bad. But what is the process of going about it for igniter sorceress when it comes to normal engravings?

there's a couple of normal engravings that I think are meta for all builds, like grudge which gives the highest base damage increase, so just keep ranking it up asap

So when gearing up and focusing on swiftness/crit, is it then more worth to take items that has lower INT and VIT but has the wished secondary stats, over an item that has more INT and VIT, but lacks Crit, or have heavily reduced crit stat? Just confused to how to know what item is better for me when gearing, if base stats>secondary stats or the opposite.

Punishing Strike Electric Discharge is better than Destruction. Dectruction is only good when boss dont move for 5 seconds otherwise is just wasted upgrade ;]

When do you get access to having something in the V slot, and what ability do you have there in this video (as I don't recognize the picture)? I thought you might have been using both Rime Arrow and Ice Shower, but now see that you don't use Ice Shower at all (so not sure what you have in the V slot). Thank you.

V is exclusively for your Awakening Skill that you have to do a quest for at level 50. It's essentially an ultimate ability with a 5 min~ cooldown that does massive damage. Every class has 2 of them to choose between, the Sorceress's being a meteor shower that strikes random locations in a large radius around her, or a large lightning dome around her that then explodes.

I don't recall that showing up as he runs down what to have at level 10 and what tripods to use, etc. He also talks about Ice Shower and Rime Arrow, but only has Rime Arrow in the active rotation there. Am I to assume you generally use Rime Arrow and don't bother with any points into Ice Shower? Thank you.

this game really lacks combos and chain skills all classes have 2 support skills or buffs or dodges then 6 more skills to cast with no order pretty noob friendly system if it takes let’s say 1000 hours on a class to become pro other games need 5k 10k hours to be pro cause you always spam minimum 10 skills + chains + combos + dodges + i frame skills don’t know how i feel about that in lost ark but definitely not a huge fun of combat system

Does the space bar teleport ever get better? It’s useless as is, with its long cooldown. Any way to increase stacks, or massively reduce cooldown, or at least extend the pitiful distance? I know there’s the special version but it’s unreliable since you can only use it 3 times at most when meter is full.

If you think that her mobility is trash because she has an 8 second, long range blink, and 3 MORE, COLLISION IGNORING DASHES; then you're playing the wrong class. Sorc has hyper mobility, and if you're still in hot water after dodging 4 times, you're not very good at playing mages.

Have you tried any of the other classes? There's no other class that has 4 dashes. Her mobility is the highest in the game. Try the others classes and you will begin to understand.
