Clean run! Fun optimization I learned about recently - you can windcut on 17 stacks and immediately cast surge, it will tick up to 20 before the spell goes off and you can start your next cycle faster

@@aviladsm correct! Synergy lasts 10 seconds though - so you can use it well before and still windcut and surge with it up. I always try to build myself to around 17 with spincutter whenever possible to line this up - especially using it to reposition to the back before surge. All the minor optimizations you can do around this and the surge stack ICD are why I love the class

I’m not sure what it is and maybe it could be a skill issue but I always feel slow on db then when I watch some good players the class feels extremely fast. Was there ever a time you felt this? And if so how did you overcome this challenge?

If Im honest, I never felt like deathblade is slowish, even without yearning, maybe thats a rune issue? Im using as many Galewinds as possible pretty much

You made me wanted to main blade again 🥹 i was atracted to blade at first but later on was kinda unsure , i also like reaper and slayer but there was not perfect swordgirl for me yet , i havent played the game might get a pc for it but this video tempted me badly to blade again cuz the gameplay and combos were so smooth and sick , seems rly funny , i love sword classes tho , wonder if theyll add a male blade aswell with variables in the style

Im curious to what your build is because why is your Surge getting stronger over time? Ether pred lvl1? I dont see ethers. Disrespect lvl 1? Lower she got the more dps you did. Even at high red bar your Surges were hitting significantly different as time went on. Or is it a skill on your bracelet? And clean run btw, restores some respect for deathblades. All the floor pov/zdps ones ruining our reputation.

Haha, I smirked on that comment when u mentioned deathblades XD Just like with all classes, we have bad and good players too The reason why my dmg was getting bigger is the Vykas' gauge above 70% buff mechanic, it gives u certain amount of atk power flat and with every stack, which is granted every 15 seconds u get 3% more, up to 15 stacks I might be slightly mistaken about the values, but its generally how it works

@@TheRobotoon It's my own personal preference - with Dark Charge you need to cast it on point blank range and it gives you only one more stack If you have windcut/void zone/maelstrom up (basically anything that generates stacks passively) I think it's more versatile to play Charge Enchancement, you can have full range advantage

By slug you mean frogs, right? On hardmode it's 16 mil exactly In normal i believe it's 10 mil There is also Just 6 tentacles in normal and every single one has 2 mil health, so yeah normal is quite easy and simple

@@Blackflippy Oh well, it's comparable to any tripod/rune build you can find on the internet Differences are I use Swift Fingers on Void Strike with blue Galewind Rune, I use charge enchancement on Blitz Rush instead of Dark Charge In general I don't play Wealth, Rage or Focus runes, everything is Galewind and specifcally for Vykas I took Overwhelm on Earth Cleaver

Hey man, Glaivier has it advantages too, you bring nice weakpoint, decent stagger, your synergy isn't the greatest but it's not bad either As far as the dmg goes, it's ceiling is lower, yeah, but you can almost always perform similarily great in any raid or content Aaaaand it's also never to late to main swap either, no worries haha

Zerker does it 10x better any day with huge dps, the dmg is im pretty sure next to a bard but yeah you are right its not too late to change ur main even tho I made it 1563 ilvl XDDD. Unfortunate man. Lost ark be favouritism specific classes and its sad

one thing that sucks about this game is that most the abilities are completely useless in terms of damage, ur ulti is doing 100m + while ur other abilities doing like 1 million 2 million in multiple ticks with 2 abilities doing 20 million, just why

Blade Surge is not an ult and most abilities in this game are built as utility, its just this build focuses on multi hit abilities/tripods which makes them somewhat weaker to get stacks for Surge quicker.

what you just described is an intentional game design choice. it comes down to sustain vs burst damage classes. surge deathblade is one of the highest burst damage classes in the game (hence 100mil+ surge while other skills do much less). there are other classes that have skills that do similar damage against each other instead of 1 skill that does massive damage (e.g. shadow hunter, machinist, reflux sorceress, etc), these are sustain damage classes.

Also you forget that we don't have ancient gear yet which makes a huge difference. If you look on kr version you see that even there regular skills are doing the same as this guy deathblade. Ultimate is and always will be meant to do higher damage than regular skills 🤣

@@hollowknight3050 the numbers dont matter, its the difference between ulti and all other abilities, most abilities are just for building orbs, do 0 dmg, and then u have 2 abilities and ult that do damage, u can miss ult and then past 30 seconds u been building orbs dont matter, its 0 dps, that sucks imo, also doesnt feel good
