I was nearly in tears watching the video… I have been watching for a long time… You have a great mum and dad… I know you love them but when you get older you will realise they gave you the best up bringing…. Love them and hug them as much as you can… I’m very sad for Keith as he wears his heart on his sleeve…. I miss my girl on the boat… She just worked in with the family so well… very sad she not there….. You have the best Christmas and enjoy that Jesus is the reason…. Finn long time no see. Its a little crazy that we don't know each other but i have watched you grow up. And now you and your siblings are going to leave the boat to go your own way. But you have though wonderful parents that gave you all to the education, knowledge and skills to find and go your life. It’s been awesome watching the crossing on your channel, Jack’s, and your family’s. It’s cool to see the different perspectives and how you each capture the experience. I’ve been watching with my 9 year old daughter who loves adventure. You’ve talked about getting a van and traveling on land. If you go that route it would be cool to see your experiences. We do a lot of short trips but we’re currently planning a 6-8 week trip to take our van from CO up to the Arctic Ocean in tuktoyuktuk. If you’re traveling and interested in caravanning for that trek reach out. We’re planning June time frame 2025. We’re outfitting our van now. Love your music and video! Keep it up.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. Your going to love van life. After beating a 10 year battle colon cancer. Lived out of my 2 seater SL500 hardtop/ convertible. Imagine clothes, food supplies and tools and sleeping in 2 ft by 2 ft area traveling around the USA. Had a blast. Did it for a year Nov. 2021 to Nov 2022. Fresh food... I served on a fleet ballistic missile submarine in the US Navy. A couple days before we'd get underway, we'd do our final stores load... which was pretty much an all-day event for the entire crew, loading three months worth of food through a 36" hole. Fun... said nobody ever! LOL. Anyway... Milk... we'd have fresh milk for about a week and then it was powdered milk or sterilized milk... the latter having a shelf life of like 50 years or something. Either way, they were both nasty. Egg... we'd have fresh eggs for about two weeks, then it was powdered eggs which meant your eggs were either scrambled or an omelet for the rest of the patrol. Fresh veg... we'd store fresh veg in the lower level of the missile compartment where it was dark, cool, and dry; so we'd have fresh potatoes for about 2 to 3 weeks, then it was frozen or canned potatoes. Fresh onions... turns out these things can last just about forever it seems, so we'd have fresh onions for about a good month or more. Fresh carrots, peppers, tomatoes, etc.; we'd have these for about two weeks or so and then it was frozen veg or canned.

I returned from my cruise to Hawaii back to Iowa to be greeted a day later with two huge blizzard with about 15 inches of snow on the ground and freezing cold Temps of -13° that means wind chills of -30°. Welcome home. So your videos help take me away from those things even if only for a while.

When y’all are docked if you can fine someone with chickens you can get fresh eggs. Do not wash them until you use them . They will last in refrigerated for a month or so . And cook the beacon first then drain most of the grease and save it to use later . Add your eggs and boy ole boy is those eggs deliciousness.

I think your traveler friends could also write a story, a book , on your world travels! I do not think the type of education you have received, will be taught at Yale, or Harvard, or MIT! However, I feel the most wonderful education you have lived and earned is the appreciation of all members of our world as you travelled!
