Good catch card is insane without that but with it, it looks unbeatable if you can’t exile/lock it down. Along with the white craft sweeper this will be the two biggest bombs in the set I bet.

Defossilize and big dinosaurs that you discarded earlier, like the forestcycler, is a good "combo" in BG. The Explore + Explore is great because if you take 2 lands, or even a land and a spell, you are gaining some value and putting a big body (in this case two) on the battlefield

I think one thing you may have missed on Another Chance is that you don’t have to mill. The way that it is worded is that you choose whether you want to mill, then you return the creatures. They are not actually tied by an if statement

Seeing bloodletter and aclazotz together makes me wish there was an arcane adaptation-ish card that let you choose two creature types and have them be each other. Like, all vampires are bats and vice versa, merfolk = fish, dinosaurs = dragons, etc

As a non magic player what exactly IS a permanent, is it non spell (sorcery or instant) stuff or what

Anything that's not an instant for sorcery is a permanent. Permanents are cards that create a permanent fixture on the board whereas non permanents don't come into play they just have their effect and go directly to the graveyard when you cast them.

Artifact, Creature, Land, Enchantment, Planeswalker, or Battle. Basically anything that sticks around on board when you use, so anything that isn't an instant or sorcery.

Is Terror Tide just bad? One of the main strengths of wraths is punishing your opponent for overcommiting when you have it in your opening hand. The set-up here is so high that I reckon either a) it won't do the job and kill the things you want it to, or b) your deck is so full of durdley stuff that you're trying to get in your graveyard that the deck won't function if it doesn't find the wrath. I don't like it. It will probably have it's use cases other than the scenario I've outlined above, but it just seems too inconsistent. I think you'll pass this way more than you'll take it. EDIT: I guess it might have good applications in a dedicated self-mill deck. I'd need a good handle on the enablers before I could say confidently whether it would work there though.

blue basically never gets board sweepers, and when it does, they usually only return stuff to the hand. +, this cares about the cards in the gy which is typically black but admittedly its a set wide mechanic so thats moot for this card specifically.

'Tide' has multiple meanings, it doesn't necessarily refer to water.

@7:02 Bloodrage Mycoid can make you trigger descend every turn if your opponent blocks the 1/1 that it makes. Creature tokens that hit the grave can trigger descend, if I am not mistaken

Unfortunately not, it specifies “permanent CARDS” going to the graveyard, and even though tokens are permanents that go to the graveyard, they aren’t cards.
