Fanatic of Rhonas is freaking nuts

I don't really understand the rating on Ral - this seems like an F to me in limited. There is no way you are ever going to be able to cast enough spells to actually get this card to do something useful. I mean the "big payoff" for flipping him is to maybe ping a small creature. And then you are left with a useless +1 ability that you probably won't even have anything left to reduce, if it would even matter at all if you do. So you have like a 1/3 body that randomly does damage to yourself, and then if you are "lucky" you can trade the body to ping once... I don't get what the upside is supposed to be.

The art on Birthing Ritual and the Oozewagg looks like something that should be in an "Un" set.

I like how you put the devoid cards into their respective videos based on their color identity. Devoid may apply in game, but it doesn't apply to Nizzahons videos. (Also it just makes sense because you still need the colored mana to cast them).

Scepter sees play in some commander decks. Specifically, imprinting dramatic reversal on the scepter gives infinite mana if they have enough mana rocks or dorks. Just another reason to hate blue players in EDH...

You mention with Hydra trainer that a 2 mana 1/1 is bad but that it can become a 3/3 on the next turn and attack as a 6/6. But that should be 5/5. When you exert it, it gives +x/+x for the amount of counters on it, which is only 2. So it gets +2/+2 making it a 5/5

I think you missed the opportunity that Gift of the Viper grants of surprise removal. It lets you untap the creature. As long as you have a creature with equal or greater toughness to the biggest attacking creature you have one mana removal. It’s not premium but it’s still removal.

Interesting to Bestow Trickster Elk onto on of your opponent’s creatures and then have it fall off as a creature on your side

Path of annihilation is a free spell if you have two spawns on the field already and is the best “mana ramp” we’ll see

This color has more B than C cards. Looks by far the best color to draft.

Note for Springheart Nantuko: The landfall trigger happens and you still get the 1/1 even if it is not attached to a creature. That essentially makes it a 2 mana sporemound.

Is there any reason why the token created by Ral and the Implicit Maze has a mana cost? Tokens usually have no mana cost, unless they are a copy of something else.

The new Spree cards have a lot of 1-mana instants that are actually more powerful! Surely being able do some of them every turn has to be good

I’m super disappointed in Wurmcoil Larva. Yeah, I’m limited it’s good. Basically always a two-for-one, potentially a three-for-one is always playable in limited. But that thing is so overcosted that it will pretty much not see play in constructed. Poor Wurmcoil Engine, my beloved.

C+ for the dragon is criminal

Red looks great just on paper. I think RG looks like the strongest archetype, its common and uncommon signposts blow all the other signposts at their respective rarities out of the water and it has a load of insane uncommon like spawn-gang commander, propagator drone, some colorless eldrazi and more. Seriously though titan's vanguard and writhing chrysalis are unbelievable for their respective rarities. Vanguard in particular looks better than potentially all of the rares and mythics.

eldrazi linebreaker can come down as early as turn 2 in modern. if you play a turn 1 it that heralds the end and turn 2 linebreaker thats 8 dmg on turn 2 with lethal on turn 3

To put how strong Lightning Bolt is into perspective: most of this list is made of strictly worse and less efficient but slightly more flexible spells.

These artifacts make Rod of Ruin look amazing by comparison.

Red having so much cheap removal and powerful 1, 2, and 3 drops definetly makes it look like red-based aggro will be big in this set

Marionette Apprentice seems insane, maybe the best blood artist variant ever since it has a decent body and comes with another creature to sac. Yeah it doesnt gain you life but it is worth it for that 1/1.

I really wish you would organize the multicolor cards by color combination. It's really hard to keep the context of which other cards might be relevant for each one.
