Born in Beckley. Raised in old coal camp of Pemberton (about 15 miles away). Graduated in Coal City. I now live far away but I love and miss WV so much! King Tut was always a go to. Sadly now it’s closed.

Listen guys. My first wife's grandparents lived in Beckley. As a matter of fact, her grandmother just died at 102! We spent a lot of weekends there from the late 70s to the mid 80s. And my job from 2005 to 2020 was based there and I was there three days a week. And I never stopped being lost, dazed, and confused! I can get around much bigger towns with much more ease than Beckley. And I don't know why. And right on red after a stop is nationwide UNLESS otherwise posted. It always amazes me at how many professional drivers don't know that!🤔 Anyway, a good video y'all!😊

Grew up in Raleigh county from 1964 to 1982 Now live 40 miles southwest of Las Vegas. Beckley has not changed much since I moved away. Don’t miss the cold, constant summer rain and the mosquitoes. Life is good in the desert.

So interesting in 1997 my father was at the Texas Steakhouse just off the highway and he choked on a piece of prime rib they took him to the hospital down the street and he died so every time I drive between Ohio and Florida get gas and reflect

Beckley definitely a dazed n confused broke town usually that part of town is like a hobo homeless convention. King Tut went out of business like most places in wv. WV for you all don't know is like 30 to 40 years behind from living ,houses , minium wage, an what they have there. 9 pm everything's closed n 98% of people are home in bed already with like 4 people not at home yet. Not including the 50,000 homeless an junkies there
