I started listening to lost dog 6 years ago when I was in the beginning of my addiction to weed, in the form of spliffs. Since then, I have dove into darkness at depths I could have fathomed- and pulled out of suicide and mania through my sobriety and recovery. Listened to lost dog through it all- 5 months sober now and still smokin tobacco like Ben, but left behind all the drugs and alcohol for a better life. Time to start this new chapter, thanks Ben and Ashley. Glad to have done it alongside ya. Ain’t livin low down no more.

This album, will be peak Benjamin Tod. Been here since before lost dog. Nobody has ever made busking “main stream” until they did. 4 years from now this will be a “new” genre. Thank you Mr. Benjamin. Back when he bumped his gums to trace adkins on the streets of music row as nothing more than a bum playing REAL music in the side of the road.

There is not enough company store songs in existence and this is by far the greatest. From wooden nickels to fiat, the wisdom & righteous indignation generations of our people have felt based off how these people operated to take advantage of & suck us dry which have only expanded their operations into the major corporations which hoard over us all today. This masterpiece is priceless for an ol’ hillbilly like me. Standing ovation Ben, you’ve been in my speakers for many years, but this one 🔥

I dunno, this man's songs helped me through hard hard times, but there's just something here that doesn't have the same soul, sound, and flow. Might just be me, but I just don't hear it in their newer stuff.
