When I look at Marcie and hear how her Mother left, I cried for that pink cheeks. Green eyed baby girl. Im so glad she's finding her family finally. God bless them all!!!

Thank you Marcie for sharing your story! I really admire your brother for the way he was so caring and having the courage to share with you what he had discovered. That had to be very difficult for him.

I absolutely Love these stories! Allow me to begin with the *F* word. Foster care stinks. I was placed at the age of 2-ish. At the age of 65 and after DNA testing most of my questions were answered. I really never talked to anyone throughout my life about how I was affected. Now there are these Wonderful, sharing groups, and I try to listen to and watch them all! The most awful, dreaded question my entire life was “so who is your family?” Well now I know. Thank You for helping repair people’s lives💕💕

Absolutely love this story. I’m also an NPE and so wish I’d had support when I found out.

I know my dad was a “player.” He honestly took me on dates with other women and places I remember. Those other possible siblings of mine deserve answers…: it’s hard to be the responsible one. Definitely feeling it!

Wow, Marcie had a lot of surprises! I just learned that my half brother isn’t. He is still reeling and not interested in finding out who his father is. At least I know where to direct him if he changes his mind. Meanwhile, some strangers a few states away are my third closest relatives in my test and we think they might be connected to my “childless” Uncle Bob! I am sending them your way, since the father of the pair was adopted.

Marcie is such a go getter. None of you talked about every day life, but I suspect she’s a CEO, or self employed, created her own company.

I’m usually super positive and super supportive, still am. If you need more money to help your non-profit. You need to get the word out there by putting out slightly different headlines, like “how many men did mom “know” biblically? It might sound judgmental, but negative stuff, and outrage rules the algorithm. Sorry for saying it out loud. NOT RELATED TO THIS STORY SPECIFICALLY. Specific words help trigger more searches, for instance my church was called “First Parish.” But people looking for churches searched for “churches,” not parishes, so our name never came up at all. The algorithm sent me here because I like “DNA,” and “genealogy.”

Thanks for your insight! I'll definitely keep that in mind.
