I get the appeal but a dystopian place is one where it’s fucked up because the government fucked it up or allows it to fuck up itself. These places exist already in the US which are low income spots but without the aesthetic appeal, just very dirty

After the war with the Enemy in the East escalated to nuclear exchanges, the cities that survived were forced to make do with very little. Energy, electricity, were like water, and information like gold. Entertainment, especially from Before, was like medicine. We all shared whatever we had and huddled together around pockets of functioning supplies our neocortices needed most to stay sane, and keep form hurting each other. We couldn't hurt each other, no, not anymore. Everyone had adopted that commandment, and anyone who didn't was dealt with swiftly, immediately. Humans have fought enough. We share Now. It's shameful it took us this loss to step in to what we had known for millennia, although, perhaps we've been blessed. We've heard nothing from the Great Powers of Before, since the Three Days of Fire. Their radio channels, internet domains, everything, silent. The saber-rattlers who dragged us all into this hell seem to have fallen on their swords at last, and left us Human Beings to our warmth. We, at least, get to cozy up together in purgatory, secure in the knowledge that there was a Before, and there will Be more to come...

I think im the only one using it the opposite way. Instead see the chill or relaxing .I feel in a big pain and depressid for what i saw in the past and even did... last time i remember playing on that account now its just a dead profile locked away from your own account and the reason is unknown... Ehh its just an account lost in 2023 what else can happen ? I didnt care about didn't do anything it was just gone 2023 was the worst year ever i dont ever wanna hear that year. I miss my grandma, grandma and my 2 kitten and even my old account where i played with all my friends that i lost them . I dont wanna get a new cat after that accident. I was so happy ,always playing with them and now... im alone. Everyone ignores me... Even this comment will be ignored. The rain... makes me feel the pain of losing them .I really lovethem and had care and now i see this. That was my worst day hearing from my mom. Hey im sorry your cat died .Not the first time in 2020 and again in 2023 the new one just passed away... i will never forget them all .I remember talking with my grandma, grandpa too .I miss them all I cant forget them .And i will never forget that day
