Sorry to disappoint you that israel is a newly found country -like it is very new to have a history
@mothratemporalradio5173 жыл бұрын
@@yaqusmafamily3077 it does not disappoint me. I have problems with the government of Israel. I repeat that at this stage of history however, whatever my personal beliefs, it has been recognised in international law as being a state of that name. You already know this or you could hardly deny its existence. What you mean is that it should not exist. And that is a different conversation. Nothing to do with two sentences noting the area in which these relics are found is currently recognised in internstional law as Israel. This may come as a shock but i did not invent international law. And while i am happy to discuss international politics including this, this comment does not represent the appropriate time and space. I am happy however to have a _constructive_ discussion about the history of the precise location these finds were made. I think it has an evocative name like the Cave of the Killers or something like that. You are missing the point, this is about archaeology and needless to say there was no Israel government thousands of years ago, although yes, the fact is right now it is that government controlling the land. I am not trying to deny the history of the land and that is the actual subject. So if you would like to talk about the subject, which is _archaeology_ , especially multiple exciting finds made in 2021, please go ahead. But i am not able to address the establishment of that state following WW2 in this comment. It's outside the scope of this comment. You are free to believe i am not allowed to use that word but your assumption that the use of it overlooks underlying dynamics is mistaken. And again, that is what it is legally called right now. The finds belong to the ancient history of the land, which needless to say are exciting because they are their own thing and nothing to do with modern nation states as such. You are also mistaken to claim that if finds are made in any spot with a legally recognised name that use of that name is inaccurate, which is why the BBC would have used that term. But i repeat, use of a legally recognisable name does not have to indicate agreement with the politics associated with it. And i don't say this because you sought to pressure me. I don't really respect or appreciate that pressure, quite the opposite. Rather, i have my own views on it, i know what they are, and i also know that mentioning that nation state among others in a list of places where archaeological discoveries were found this year is not an invitation for you to try and squeeze me because of the conclusions you have leapt to over my even using the word. We all know the Israel government control that area of land right now. Again, the archaeological finds are not about that.
