This is a bizarre one. Took me a while to get my thoughts into writing and I'm still pretty unsure about this film. I hope you enjoy the video still. Have a great day!

Your video was watchable till the end, the last few seconds where total earrape and blasted out of my tv and woke up my entire family. So thank you for that, otherwise I loved the video :)

I didn’t think the ending was that loud in my headphones. My apologies for that.

I thought it was definitely louder than the rest of the video but not to a jarring or uncomfortable degree. It seemed fitting for the style

It was like loud in a particular sharp jarring way, definitely fitting just not in the context of the situation. It is far from the first time I have had something like this happen and I get it honestly. I love the mans content I just wanted to let him know in case someone else also enjoys the video and is jump scared by it :)@@XuntosIzor

Lynch has been notoriously cagey about what his movies mean, but hes actually been relatively open about Lost Highway. It's inspired by OJ Simpson and how the only way someone could maintain his cheery optimistic attitude after having killed someone is to, essentially, become two people. A "psychogenic fugue".

One of my favorite "cult classic" films. My college buddies and I watched this one again again.

This feels like a really strange movie to watch with friends which probably makes it the perfect choice. Sounds like a good time.

"Wild At Heart" was another one we loved. David Lynch is a trip, and Willem Dafoe gives a completely unhinged and insane performance. Plus: peak Cage for the win@@LavenderRex7705

@KidFresh71 I had no Idea Willem Dafoe was in a David Lynch film. I definitely have to check that one out. I think I remember my mom telling me that it was the only Lynch film she ever saw in theaters.

Bill Pullman would have been perfect as James Sunderland. This movie already has the Mary/Maria duo inspired by "Vertigo" or "Fantasma d'Amore" perhaps - you'll love the latter movie if you haven't watched it, spefically because of how much it seems to have inspired Silent Hill 2. Thanks for another awesome vid.

Love your Sopranos videos that got me here & delighted you're also talking about my favorite director. All I know is I feel better in this world knowing David Lynch is in it. Lost Highway is not my favorite of his movies(I don't mean I dislike it, I own it as I do all his films, I just mean literally it's not my favorite, Mulholland Drive is). I think he works from an extremely instinctual place and he was an artist first and foremost before a filmmaker (as you probably know if you're a fan of his he's said he became a filmmaker because he wanted to see his paintings in motion). I think a lot of what he does is just that, images that come to him that he brings alive in film. I'm not a Lost Highway expert but if you want Mulholland Drive or better yet, Twin Peaks, broken down, I'm your girl all day lol.
