Harry was not scared at all i believe!!After Harry and Sally sleep together Sally becomes upset and angry because; The morning after, (even right after incident) Harry was distant and left the apartment as soon as possible. This makes Sally feel used and rejected, as it suggests that Harry did not value the experience or her feelings. Sally was beginning to develop deeper feelings for Harry, and sleeping with him was a culmination of their long-standing tension and friendship. (As Sally had told earlier in the movie what's is the meaning sleeping with someone to her in their first fight after Harry and Helen bumped into each other.) She was hurt that Harry didn't seem to share those feelings and acted as if it was a meaningless encounter. Earlier in the movie, Harry states that he doesn't like to stay after sex, typically leaving after about 30 seconds. Sally is aware of this and is upset that she became just another person that he has treated this way. She felt like she was more than just a casual encounter for Harry. Essentially, Sally's anger stemmed from Harry's dismissive reaction and the realization that he didn't seem to reciprocate the deeper feelings she was developing. She wanted more than just a casual fling. She felt like a "consolation prize," as she said to Harry later in the movie.

Why do you think his name is pronounced "LOR-trek"? It's either "LOW-trek" or "LAW-trek" but either way there's only one R in Lautrec.

I love your videos so much, man. There's always something interesting to be gleaned from your opinions. Your channel is very cosy, introspection and unpretentious. Your passion for what you make always shines through. Also I see you watched 103 Fever by Connor O'Malley - please do something on his stuff!

Dark Souls is up there with Ocarina of Time/Majoras Mask, at least for me. 20 years after OoT and MM, I thought I would never experience the sense of adventure, exploration and awe that those games instilled in me as a kid, but then Dark Souls came around. It's a game that doesnt click right away. I remember the praise it got by it's growing cult following. Playing through the Asylum and painstakingly working my way through Undead Burg, I kept thinking "Is this it?". Then I remember taking the elevator down to the Shrine and then it all fell into place. The dopamine receptors in my brain started going off and I was off on a new adventure.

The fact you spent 6 minutes making a new character just to run back and record the quelag hug explosion animation deserves a like n sub in itself, the wave at the end deserves my heart, lovely video dude

10:35 I like how the daughter here is both A) the closest to the Bed of Chaos and B) not a demon. It indicates that becoming a demon like Quelaag and the Fair Lady is a choice. And if so, then Quelana made a horrible mistake leaving her family when she could have helped.

Sieglinde is possibly one of the most impressive characters in the game - mostly because she’s apparently still human, NOT undead, and yet treks all the way to Lordran and survives all that stuff with relative ease

The Abyss predates the suppression of humanity, we learn in dark souls 3 that the og human knights had their weapons forged in the Abyss. So unfortunately i dont think your interpretation of it works

Hey, after beating elden ring and getting into souls likes more than ever i wanted to give DS1 a chance. It was good at first until i lost my path a numerous of times. The lacking amount of bonfires, the lack of map and the areas being connected to each other with small little tunnel-like narrow paths are making my patience wear thin. The boss fars are not necessarily hard, the mobs are not that annoying. What really is the enemy in this game i think is the long distabces between bonfires and the slow/time consuming animations of controls. I really want to get to the final fight and then watch some lore videos to like its beautiful world and characters but these stuff is making me doubt if its worth it or not.

Love this video but just gotta say that Ceaseless isn’t grieving a random corpse that he thinks is Quelana lmao. There’s seven daughters of chaos and Quelana is one of the only survivors that wasn’t turned into a demon. Ceaseless is grieving one of his seven dead sisters.

Just finished yesterday. This game caused me more sorrow than fun. It has a very coherent world with interconnected zones and excellent graphics and sound effects. It depicts a world of solitude, mithology and very hostile enemies. Somebody loves to repeat a level for hours and hours and hours... And even the path from a bonfire to a boss, which is an unnecessary punishment and a waste of time, in my opinion. I grew up with difficult games, but there's a thin line between a difficult game and a frustrating one: DS is often frustrating. Good game, but I still don't understand why so many people adore it!

New Londo is creepy for the same reason that Wet Dry World is. It has a liminal nature to it. Especially with the ambience and water sloshing sounds. The abandoned cities and distant unreachable parts of their world and skybox, add to this feeling.
