Lost Horizon is a personal, non-commercial project I developed as an exercise to enhance my skills in Unreal Engine 5 and refine my cinematography techniques.
The story revolves around a spy stationed in a sprawling canyon, anticipating the arrival of an "old friend" of the Empire at a hidden base.
This project has been a tremendous learning experience, covering all phases of production-from storyboarding and conceptualizing to modeling and texturing the landing pad and spaceship. I also explored the integration of Metahumans into my workflow, which was incredibly rewarding.
The worldbuilding for this project draws heavy inspiration from Star Wars, as is evident in the aesthetic and atmosphere.
