Awesome video Mike, was really nice to see death valley, to bad drones are not allowed. Burgers looked great, and the mine site was spectacular.

I finally got around to watching this! You guys visited some pretty cool places there in Death Valley. You weren't too far from Barker Ranch (Charles Manson's hideout). That would've been the perfect spot for a ghost story, considering it's evil past. I'm looking forward to your next adventure, brother. Happy Trails.

Thanks Victor! Yeah we wanted to go there also but the DVNP website showed the road closed. I later learned someone made it there no problem. Thanks for watching buddy!

Mike, you really think a 40lbs rock gets moved by the wind on the Playa? 🤔 Seems improbable. Curiosity peaked . I'll have to do some research on that. 🙂...aha. It happens in winter. A combination of water, Ice and wind.😀

Y’all went to racetrack but didn’t stay at homestake camp? And didn’t do Lippincott pass to saline valley Missed out.
@flyfisher5305 ай бұрын
I know we wanted a dispersed camp site without neighbors. Homestake was never really a choice for us but would like to see it someday. Would have liked to taken South Pass back to the highway, it just wasn’t an option this time due to closure.

@@flyfisher530drive up to Lippincott mine and you got yourself dispersed camping. Also south pass is soft open. People have been using it going months. Inyo county just doesn’t have the man power to survey it in a timely manner.

@@GoSlowTaco Good to know people have been using South Pass for months, even through those snow storms before we left. And its too bad that the DVNP website and the ranger we talked to said it was closed (in Part 1 at 14:15) It sucks but we did not want to get all the way there from Racetrack and then have to turn back.
