Your first mistake is taking something like poetry and saying you can do it "better" than somebody else can, in my opinion I disagree you can't really do it better, just differently. Some might say yours is "better" because it rhymes more or something like that and some might say his is better because it's deeper and speaks to the listener more. And vice versa. music and art is all subjective. I stopped trying to prove i was "better" then people when I was 18 years old and its really made me look at myself differently. And a truly talented poet doesnt just rhyme random words together my friend, anybody over the age of 12 can rhyme words together.
