The first season was the best of all three seasons of LIS - less campy and great plot stories with actions. My nine top favorite episodes of LIS: 1. There Were Giants In The Earth (Season 1, Ep. 4) 2. The Hungry Sea (Season 1, Ep. 5) 3. Return from Outer Space (Season 1, Ep.15) 4. Visit to a Hostile Planet (Season 3, Ep. 2) 5. The Anti-Matter Man (Season 3, Ep.15) 6. Target: Earth (Season 3, Ep.16) 7. Space Creature (Season 3, Ep.10) 8. The Sky Is Falling (Season 1, Ep.10) 9. Wish Upon a Star (Season 1, Ep.11) Quotes from Wish Upon a Star: Will Robinson: But why work when the machine can do it FOR you? Prof. John Robinson: Will, up to now, this family's been getting along very well. We have respect and love for one another - and you can not wish for those things with THAT. Now we get this, a machine that makes dreams come true, and instead of making us happier, it sows the seeds of discontent, mistrust, and indolence. I said, "a machine that makes dreams come true..." Nightmares can also be dreams.

Hulu is running the Lost in Space series, I've been watching it. It was my favorite show as a kid. Until rewatching the series, the episodes that stood out to me were the giant, man eating plants, and the boy behind the mirror. Its been fun rewatching the series through the eyes of an adult. Now the perspective is different. It was truly a very creative show for its time. Who can know the hostility of the space environment, or of potential life forms? Those flight packs actually exist today and they actually work! As a kid, I made my Jupiter 2 ships out of aluminum pie tins and painted on the windows and other details. Seeing those who were kids then all grown up now has been nice. They all flourished in their careers and lives without tumbling into a sea of alcoholism and substance abuse. It's also nice to see the adults aged gracefully. Thankyou for the interviews and updates dear Robinson family cast! Its been a pleasure.

June Lockhart, Mark Goddard, and Marta Kristen have all aged very well. Marta, in particular, is still a knockout at age 78!!

yes , I saw all of the Lost in space shows in the 60,s . I really liked seeing where the cast is these days . I can,t seem to get away from hearing about David Bowie . I see one of the Cast is a big fan . I used to work for Bowie . He was cool to talk too and tour with . R.I,P. That was in 1983.

June Lockhart guest starred as a doctor on another SF show as well in 1994 - Babylon 5, in the episode called "The Quality of Mercy". Edit: the same show Bill Mumy had a recurring role on.

Loved Lost in Space! This was such a nice tribute❤️ My fav was they were on a planet and a little girl was some kind of princess ruler - something was happening to the planet like an earthquake - she had to be preserved by going to sleep on this bed amidst ruble falling & falling debris.

I loved all the sci-fi shows of the 60's and 70's to now. My favorite cast member was the robot.

i never missed an episode - EVERY wednesday night at 730pm i was laying flat on the living room floor watching cbs's LIS - my little brother and i fought (and i mean we FOUGHT) over the first 1/2 hour starting in january 1966 because abc's BATMAN was on - his argument was i could watch the second 1/2 hour of LIS and not miss anything and i'd catch up quickly - we had one black and white tv that was a major piece of living room furniture back in the day when tv's were indeed a major piece of furniture, not just an 82' screen hanging on the wall like today's tv's - sometimes i gave in but i was mostly selfish - when i understood NEILSEN RATINGS i got upset because BATMAN was a top 10 smash (as was the 90 minute series THE VIRGINIAN on nbc) while LIS NEVER made the annual top 30 show's - it's single highest rating ever, back in the 60's, was an 18 for the week and that was only once, alas it was always in the top 40 - enjoy! :)

I remember watching reruns in the 1970s and could not get enough of the show as a ten year old. Marta Kristen so beautiful up until today. Loved the Jupiter 2 which resembled many photos of supposed real life UFOs. And the b 9 robot was so cool. At some point Irwin Allen should have had a special episode which they returned back to earth

I was very young when this series started. My parents let my older brothers watch it, but not me until re-run started. Now I have all 3 seasons.

Silent Night LOL Googie is the name of the character Billy Mumy played on the Munsters. Little Eddie's friend.

There are several “favorites “, but I think I’ll choose the one where Kurt Russell makes a guest appearance. But, really, the guest stars were so plentiful - seems EVERYONE was on the show at some point in time. Billy Mumy was quite an actor, himself. And Angela Cartwright as a favorite actress of mine. The show did become too silly, even for me. I now have the entire series on DVD, and enjoy watching it. 📻🙂
