It's a PLEASURE , I seen a lot of what you did for us EMIGRANTS , I been away 54 years now , & only went back as holiday 7 times , & 1 time to stay there, but did not work for me ,cause of work situation , I love MALTA as a holiday. & very close to EUROPE places to visit. life if different , good, but living got too expensive for the wages they get , Housing got out of reach to buy for someone who did not already had a his own place to sell & buy. They do well , but New Ones , I feel sorry for them. IT'S Got flooded by foreigners, Than can well afford to buy property, & kept prices SKY ROKETING from 1990'S that happened , & if you been there ,that long , You know too well , but MALTA is full of HISTORY , & nice country for holiday , and those who lived their lives in there, Wish all the best , & KEEP Enjoying your stay there , & THANK YOU

hi steve, what a wonderful long video to wake up to on a dull wet saturday morning in b'mouth, this one is lot more special to me personally as i was born there and baptised in the main parish church, all my uncles lived there within 5 to 10 minutes of each other, but i was brought up in hamrun, and was going backward & forward with my mother up to my teenage years to see the grandparents as well as the rest of all the uncles, aunties and cousins, again you walked all where i did & play as young boy, the gibjun garden is fantastic, but of course was never like that, mainly because it was a very long time ago, but the views are the same with filfla at the back standing all alone, bye 4 now & thanks a lot it's 10 out of 10 from me for this one, i wonder when is your birthday ? see you soon.

I think in Malta there are many of these towns which are really underrated
@mannaggaguz96203 жыл бұрын
You have to ask yourself 'by whom'? I mean in Malta you can’t expect a view unless you’re on the coast and you can hardly expect a garden; just a yard really. So if you’re fine with that, as is the case with tourists because they don’t have to live there thats fine, but people with a choice don’t want to feel like sardines. Malta is excellent value for a sunny holiday spent enjoying best of history, architecture and food and sea but to live there as compares to abroad in a detached house you need serious money.
@juliemanning72903 жыл бұрын
Yes..zurrieq is ancient..napoleon bonapart also stayed in zurrieq..its quieter but windy but i like it that way. Gibjun is lovely in the evening great views of the sea and filfla and firework displays from other villages.

Steve, I have to admit I feel humbled that I commented too soon half way through your video before you reached the Water Well Garden (Gibjun) section, when I realised what an awesome job the authorities have done there. It makes me understand now why my college mates (M.C.A.S.T.) back then who lived there were so proud of it and said it was underrated compared to the northeast area like Mellieha. Hi Steve, thanks for another interesting video. Nice to see you wear a mask. Can you explain please at 1.00 to 1.10 there is a disabled parking sign that says Communal. Can you clarify if a disabled parking badge in Malta can be used across the whole island or are there restrictions, i.e. why 'Communal'? Thanks
@EnglishmaninMalta3 жыл бұрын
Communal means anyone with a badge can park in that space , But we also have disabled parking with a registration number on it, Which is paid for by that individual and only they are allowed to park in that space ,if you have a badge you can park in any disabled space , in any part of the Maltese islands other than as i said with a registration number on it ,
