I knew that you'd see kashiwagi when you went to survive and i was expecting to see some sub story characters from the last game but zhao caught me completely off guard. It was awesome they brought these characters back and on the slim chance they make another game i hope to see more or even mainline yakuza characters like ichibans ad playing on tvs in kamurocho.

Another good idea is because the only place that u can enter to buy ichiban's goods is at the confections, if u have LAD save file in your memory, the ads playing will be the same as the state ur business mini-game is for example, if the mini-game is abandoned, there will be no secret ads, if u can go to top 100 it'll show you the first ads, and if u could go to for example top 20/10 the ads will show you the ichiban holdings ads instead, neat right?

I love how RGG gave both the Judgment series and LAD a different look, even if both are running on the Dragon Engine. Judgment and Lost Judgment look realistic (like Y6), while LAD looks a little more cartoony. It also reflects on the cameos (like Zhao, who looks so good as a "realistic" character). They probably decided to make Ichiban's adventure look more cartoony because it's a JRPG.

The divine water goes way back! Michiyo called it “AH-HA divine water” in Yakuza:LAD. Kiryu can fund the AH-HA drink for a million yen back in Yakuza 0. Dude probably jump started that franchise back at the 80s.

I was so caught off guard when I first saw Zhao. I didn't mind that he couldn't speak, his presence was already enough, cooking for the boys after a well fought battle 😂 Also not a cameo per se, I was pretty excited to get inside Geomijul. I was half expecting to see Seong-hui or getting inside the monitor room, but seeing her men was already enough. I mean, we even get inside the area where we face *you know who* in Y7! That alone made me pretty happy as well. I'd say that in the cameo and references department, the game was very satisfying

I recall Zhao did hand over Liumang leadership to Seong-Hui, but doesnt remember that he officially leave Liumang for good. Besides, even if he did leave Liumang, it comes to show that Liumang members still regards him as a superior probably because he was a respectable leader, just like how some of the Yakuza members, regardless omi alliance or tojo, still respects Kiryu and gave him special privileges despite Kiryu was out of the Yakuza for a long time.

If Lost Judgment is it, then say good bye to this combat. What an absolute shame. Judgment carried the torch but now if this is gone. We only have Yakuza Like A Dragon which might as well have a different name being so different from previous games. Sad man
