All the engineering, inventiveness, men in pattern shops, foundries, forgeries, machine shops and more, all the time that it took to build. In less than one or two shifts everything is destroyed 🤔🥊💥

@@PreservationEnthusiast Queen Mary will not be scrapped! Ever since Long Beach took control of her a few months back they have been doing restoration work and she is actually in amazing condition!

@@randomuser9883 It is in better condition than was thought. But it's never made any money. Longbeach keeps on having to bail it out. They keep on having to lie about ghosts and hauntings to drum up visits from the gullible US public. I can see a time in a few years when the hull corroded more and they get fed up spending money on it.

@@PreservationEnthusiast actually it was Disney that made up those ghost stories. But honestly as long as they use the little money they get on maintenance she will probably stay in a okay condition.

Some definitely built in Churchward's time, so not ancient, but maybe 25-30 years old.
