1:06:00. - I don’t mean to be super critical, but I think the table got away from you here my man. Seemed like they desperately needed a course correction to prevent party-conflict here. Think it would’ve been worse if Shellcowski hadn’t addressed the tension.

@@ATbierer I think the tension was there for a legitimate story reason - we're all friends irl and none of it carries over to real life haha, it'd be different if I was playing with a group of strangers. I will always side with letting the players play it out rather than stepping in and saying "be nice". Party conflict isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially early on when people are figuring their characters & relationships out.

I gotta say, great rp between LadyLavinias, RunawayRobot, Craig, and Shellkowski. It’s good to see that level of trust between players that they can play out an emotionally tense scene in character without it bleeding over into irl. I kept checking Cat’s screen to see how she was doing, and it’s good to see you all handled that extremely well. Ngl though, I’m not very fond of Stome and Ungor atm, lol. I know from the other content I’ve seen from you that you’d have a system set up to keep everyone safe and having fun, and I appreciate it. And thanks to Merchant for allowing the scene to play out.

I love that the dragon owned the party so thoroughly that they're tiptoeing around like, oh, I dunno, there's a DRAGON they have to be AFRAID of! So many players are so hugely confident, the great terrors of the game are treated like, "yawn, big monster, we kill it and find the booty." I love the roleplay here. The guilt, the blame, the strife! It's amazing to see.

Merchant, nice baiting on Kat. Question to ponder, the dragon's single action is a multi attack, so should you not make all three attack rolls (complete the action) before asking if there is a reaction from the player?

At the 1 hour mark, I'm going to make the prediction that maybe they should just not take anything from a green dragon hoard. Especially a thing willingly offered. Edit at 1:30: Eh alright maybe I was wrong. I assumed the item would be used by the dragon to track the party back down but I don't think they'll have it anymore.

The dragon in this adventure is meant to be an impossible encounter. Even twice as many PC as it's designed for can't win it at level 2, as we see here.

They knowingly roll up on a dragon with no game plan? 😮 Kiva justifies mouthing off to a dragon because she has a wisdom score of 8? 😂 If I were in the party, I might have attacked Kiva the second time she mouthed off to the dragon as a desperate act of self-preservation. 🎉

I’m about 1/2 way through. Jeez this is rough. My first thought was, “play stupid games, win stupid prizes,” but then it seemed like that moment was pre-planned between the DM and the player to showcase the draconic transformation. However, that didn’t make it any better in my opinion. I hate heavy-handed bs like that from DM’s. And now I’m listening to the Magic identification scene … more heavy handed bs… (if I was a player, I would’ve taken the cloak because it was so obvious the DM wanted him to take the Tesseract. If you can’t tell your story without the players cooperating by making the choices you want them to make, you need to rewrite your story.) Otherwise I’ve been greatly enjoying the campaign 🥰

Oh look at that... the one character that tries to keep the party together, the one character who tried to talk through every situation and just was seemingly not allowed to roll persuasion or deception or even intimidation or bribe or have any effect on the apparent outcome of the conversation, the one character who the DM and party constantly humiliated and who every NPC seem to literally look down upon for being a little person... yeah he's just dead. Instant death. Hey WotC put an overpower npc in the campaign, why wouldn't the DM use it to kill the party? I mean he didn't at first, because he wanted to tell his own story, so the npc _had_ to be lenient- so I guess the story _now_ calls for instant death... but only of _that_ character... the other characters? Why instant death them? They're still useful to _his_ story. This is just sad now. I'm just sad now.

I’m not sure why people keep saying this was great. Barbarian smarts off, is directed to stop and doesn’t. Party should have been wiped. Cleric is told not to sneak in heavy armor and decides to anyway. Party should have been wiped. There’s nothing remotely awesome or great about this. Obviously, this troop is not up to fighting a dragon. So wtf? What are we watching?
