Got this game for a free game of the month on xbox, saw it was a jrpg and though "I must get it", fell in love right away this is easily my most favorite battle theme so far in the game but I only just beat the second boss and can't wait to hear more also the thousand years of dreams are so fucking deep made me cry on two of them. Truly an amazing game.

Does anyone else think Kaim looks like Keanu Reeves? If they ever made a movie I think he would be the perfect fit for the role. As for the theme, my favorite part has to be the counter-melody at 0:45 (Cello/French Horn). I think what makes Uematsu such a great composer isn't just his melodies, but his understanding of the relationship between melodies, harmonies, and counter-melodies. That understanding allows him to create large, flowing pieces that appear to have a much larger apex than it actually does, and it sounds great in the process.

Battle themes aren't supposed to be this epic. Ironically, that's part of what made it annoying to fight! Then again, that's every damn theme in this game. The music in this game is the most underrated music in history.

the sad truth is lost odessy didn't sell well. On VG charts it's shown that it hasn't even hit a million units sold. which is sad because the game god stomped every rpg at the time and still beats back quite of the newer rpgs as well. I think with mistwalker being a small studio, they have no way to hype games. One of the biggest sins in the gameindustry is Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of Final fantasy is redused to making IOS and android games.

the problem was that he picked the wrong system to release them on. He made Lost Odyssey an Xbox 360 exclusive and The Last Story a Wii exclusive. While I'm really greatful for that, because I loved The Last Story on Wii, what he should have done is release on a Playstation System (at the time, PS3), or on the DS/3DS. People still play tons of JRPGs on those systems.

Bipolar Bear Mistwalker has said on record that it didn't sell well. There's no disputing it. There's a reason they went to the Wii and made The Last Story (which sold better) and are now making mobile RPGs (which are doing even better) A company has to go where the customers are.

VG Charts isn't 100% reliable this is true, but it's close enough. A shame those games couldn't get on the PS. If one is into RPGs, one would buy a PS or maybe the DS. Granted those games where published.

Lost Odyssey is probably the most underrated Xbox360 game, but the game mechanics and interaction felt like I would eventually play the Final Fantasy game series. Fantasy series on a different platform with a different story but familiar atmosphere and Feel the gameplay and excitement of themiss this game story so damn and hopefully the latest version or even an improved version coming to a new console or even a sequel would possibly be coming :) because I could experience a great story again and with better graphics.

+Hitlervania's Bizarre adventure WRYYY only immortal characters can revive themselves. mortal charaters like Jansen Tolten and Sed stay KO'd so u gotta revive them. its a good balance of the battle mechanic for survival against tough enemies. in case you want to keep fighting or run away

Nope, Sakaguchi left Square cuz FF : Spirits Within was an enormous commercial failure, Square fired him and he founded Mistwalker. He didn't worked with Square since Driving Emotion Type-S, except if we count Kingdom Hearts and FFXI-X2-TA that he only produced.

Well all i can to say is that this game is epic but was/is in the shadows and not everybody know it because well the most of people prefer Sony consoles than Microsoft consoles and because this games was one of the first games on Xbox 360.But i repeat this game is so epic,great story,great controls,great graphics,amazing OST with in my opinion the best battle theme and boss battle theme in all JRPG that i played.So if you have money and you havent a Xbox 360,buy it.P.D:This game would be amazing if have a remaster or remake.😉And sorry if my english isnt so good,i am not a English speaker.
