As the Lost Odyssey soundtrack doesn't have any looped tracks, I have looped a few and decided to upload them. I will take requests, should anyone send them in. Here's the normal battle theme, The Gun Barrel of Battle.

If I were a rich man, I would donate as much money as I could spare to Mistwalker for another RPG from the two legends working there. It's a crime that they aren't making more AAA titles because of lack of money.

This song brings back memories of the first time I played Lost Odyssey. Watching events unfold on the Wohl Highlands as Uhran and Khent forces clashed in an epic confrontation. Then the camera focuses in on a dark haired man in light plate slashing his way through the Khents, and I knew immediately that this was the guy I'd be playing as... then suddenly this music begins as I get control of the game and the ensuing battle. I knew at that moment that I'd picked up an amazing game.

So sad that after such an amazing game, Mistwalker would just rapidly fall into a spiral. I mean, they went from fucking Lost Oddssey to mobile for fuck sake.

Definitely what Final Fantasy should be in this day and age. Love it. Could listen to it all day.

Boy this theme brings me back memories. I'm surprised there are no other games of this name. Not even a Sequel, prequel, or a remake! The story was good, the OST was good, Everything about it was good, on par with enchanted arms in my opinion!

I WISH TO GOD FINAL FANTASY STILL HAD THIS FORM OF BATTLE. Hate the new battle system, love turn battle system like the old final fantasys. Thank you Lost Odyssey for bringing back a small fraction of the old FF series.

the violen makes this so amazing it not easy to hear but you know it there ^_^ and it mixed with the drums to add a great flowing battle theme

This game's so much better than any Final Fantasy game. No Final Fantasy game's captured as much emotion as this one, and made you want to keep playing, not to complete the game, but just to kick Gongora's ass..

damn this sounds more what one would expect for boss music.

the theme is good enough to calm me down from the anger of normal battle popping out

It'll always be new to some extent. It couldn't be too turn based like the old ones unless on a portable - they wouldn't get away with it on a console after how dynamic 13 was, at least not without some modifications - and then it'd be a new take on it anyway. Paradigm shift was a good system, but they failed to expand on it much in 13-2, which i hoped they would.

FF13's battle system was a breath of fresh air. Saying this, i wish too that a future final fantasy game will have such a system. The best way to get away with it, is to make say FF15 for portable devices instead. That way they wouldn't have to 1-UP 13's dynamics

the fact that i have to waste time navigating through menus while the enemy constantly attacks me just to use the spell i want to, if it is active time it must at least pause the bars while you navigate sub menus. and action rpgs often have a shortcut to spells anyways so you won't have to deal with the hassle, menus are not so much of a hassle if you have turn based.

Well, TLS hasn't been released in the US yet...but, last I heard, it seems to be selling only as much as any new IP on the market. That would mean not so well. Either way, I love Mistwalker and hope to god they don't ever stop making games.

I agree. But, I think 13's had its turn and it should be finished. Whether SqEnix decides to bring back an old system or introduce a new one is up to them, though.

Hey was wondering if you could make an epic battle score that would last about an hour or so, with a kind of build of feel to it. So the beginning could be rather mellow then build up to a climax where the heat of battle takes place to somewhere along the lines of making a final stand or decision before it's all over. Sounds a bit much ? xD sorry but anyways awesome upload
