Today I want to talk about the adventures I had while hiking on La Réunion. I found my hikes mostly on randopitons.re . They have some good information but some hikes seemed to be outdated und not maintained anymore.
This ended in me having the most challenging hike of 28km and 9 hours of walking. It was called “Le sentier littoral de Saint Philippe au Tremblet” and parts of it were beautiful, but the second half was not that special but very long. I can only recommend to have a look at the comments to get more information about the latest conditions of the track.
The forest walk was in Forêt de Belouve and I can highly recommend the hike and even the drive there was nice. The waterfall is called Cascade Langevin.
