I like your pigeons but a long time ago I a pigeon coop on my roof & 1 on my window with about 20 birds, the on the roof was 60 birds they were mix flights tiplets. It was different then what you have now but I love it. Good luck & I hope your bird comes back in good health. ✌Homer racing man.

Birds looking great as always brother ! As to the two young birds I’d fly the little blue checkers and safe the rest as a fancy color team. Just my opinion buddy hope that blue bar white flight comes back for you I’ll be posting a video soon first day out i released 37 and got 29 back never saw the missing 8 again! 🤦‍♂️

@@gpsloft5868 I’m pretty sure i waited too long to let em all out and by the time I did let em fly the older birds were too wing strong. They fly too far from home and just don’t know how to make it back then if they stay out at night they are as good as gone because of big owls in my area

Sorry to hear that, my friend. I suggest you fly all the second round youngsters. During training you can choose 3 of them to race. Good luck!!

No more landing on the power line or pole. Landing on the house. Great, you’re going to do well this season. The one eye bird baby’s are going to make you proud. I wouldn’t worry about that blue bar while flights . If it wasn’t something from nature that took it it probably wasn’t a good bird anyway. The other 9 came back.

It's tough to take but I'll be damned if it hasn't hit wires . Your ybs are ranging ( checking out their area /live ) you'll be surprised how far they get . Personally I wouldn't move any over. I'd get team 2 flying to the home they're in now . Then when they're ranging move a couple over or just fly them to they're current home . If I was forced to choose I'd pick the red hen and both the chequers.... ps, looking good so far . Keep it up...

Soo true! It happened to me last year! When start ranging, they tend to go to places they’re not suppose be at and that’s when they get they lose. 😊

I say try the grizzle & red . Yea it sucks to loose them .it happens to all of us .we have to be 🥶 .. how much feed do you give to the 10 racing pigeons??? My team is 10 as well right now. .. I give 1 tablespoon per bird once a day .

I try to keep them hungry most of the time. They will eat like there’s no tomorrow and that’s how they get unhealthy.

Hi! Tanong ko lang kung kailangan ng permit sa County para magkaroon ng loft. Dito din ako sa LA County bandang Hacienda Heights. Mayroon bang hustle sa mga kapitbahay regarding their cooing. Matagal din akong nagkalapati sa Pinas from grade school to college. I have been wanting to start a small loft with a few pairs just to keep me preoccupied. Hopefully you can help me out. Thanks.

Why do you not create one loft with different compartment than have so many makeshift lofts. The birds definately need a bigger home. You can make a triangular loft with a night light or cage on top.
